Life's Difficult Roleplay RE-BOOT

Rina's blue eyes lit up.

"Yeah, I'm always on a Pokémon game! My mum thinks it's childish, but she just doesn't understand. You a fan too?"

 

Bluebell looked down at the young girl. Why was she hanging out with kids so much younger than her? Oh, right, as punishment for coming in late for work too many times. 'Is it my fault that beauty takes time?! Humph. The boss is soooo annoying! And I have to babysit this brat he knows or else I'd be fired?! This has to be violating my rights!!'

"Do you guys like Pokémon?"

Bluebell looked disdainfully at the child, "Pokémon? No. That's for little brats like you. God...I hate my life."

 

"At least you got good eyes." Bluebell nodded in approval. "But you should never ask a woman her age!" she humphed in annoyance. Kids these days don't know any manners!

(OOC: So, the RP will be closed? )

 

"Well, your mother didn't teach you right!" Bluebell flipped her ponytail in emphasis. 'Goodness, even parents these days don't teach their kids well!' though the blonde.

"Well, whatever. What do you brats want to do?"

 

Cobalt looked around as the others conversed. He wasn't included yet, and he hoped he wouldn't be. However, anger burned inside of him. She called him a BRAT? Because he plays Pokémon? Ridiculous! The others seemed fine, but...Bluebell...just pissed him off.

"Actually, BLUEBELL, my mother told me not to insult people for their hobbies." Cobalt snapped.

 

Cobalt looked down at the ground, realizing he just got himself involved. People talking down to him just angered him, and he had to speak up. But, he wished he didn't. Why did he HAVE to come here? His parents said they wanted him to make some friends, but he was sure that they were just getting him babysitters in disguise.

"Cobalt. It's Cobalt.". he murmured.

Cobalt realized the streak of cobalt in his hair grew noticeably longer, hiding his right cheek and part of his right eye. What was going on? It wasn't this long before.

 

"Thanks. You too." Cobalt replied quietly. He didn't like meeting new people. He was incredibly shy, and new people always pressured and stressed him out.

He toyed with his hair as he thought about writing. Descriptive words, imagery, sentence structure, etc. His English teacher adored his writing, and it was one of the few places he was confident in his abilities. With his small circle of friends, he was comfortable, but not confident. Here, he was feeling powerless, lonely and antisocial.

"I guess a bit of Truth or Dare wouldn't be too bad.." Cobalt agreed.

 

"Alright...sounds okay." Cobalt agreed.

Cobalt was confused. What was going on with his hair? It grew longer and longer each time he noticed it in his peripheral. What was weirder, is that no one else seemed to notice. I'm going insane. I'm sure of it. He thought to himself.

 

(Figured no one would. It's just something subtle. It'll be explained later.)

Cobalt's eyes met Twi's, and Cobalt's mind mimicked Twi's expression. His cheeks faded into a bright red. Cobalt put his head down and let his hair overhang, and thus cover, his face. He liked Twi. She was the only one who seemed to care about him here. Care felt like a delicacy for Cobalt, a silk-like emotion. Elusive, euphoric and fine. Cobalt didn't know if he actually enjoyed her company, or if he just had feelings for her....
No. No, you don't Cobalt. That's ridiculous. Cobalt scolded himself. She doesn't actually care, does she? She's just trying to make a friend.

Cobalt tried to stick to those thoughts, but sometimes mind cannot overcome emotion.

 

"Oh, uh...nothing. I'm fine. Just...thinking." he looked up,smiling back.
Shut up mind. She cares. She actually cares. She cares about how I am. Selfless without request.
"So, uh..Truth or Dare, Twi?"
