Alrighty, let's all play a game! A user will give people a logic question and the other users must try to answer it. Rules: The question can be any question; as long as the right answer is logical The person who gets the answer to the previous logic question right is the one who asks the next logic question. If two days pass without a person getting the right answer to the question, the one who made the question will reveal the final answer, along with the explanation. If a user guesses the answer correctly, the user who gave the question is still obligated to explain why the answer turned out to be the answer. Have fun! I'm going to start this one off: There are a hundred people who participated in a festival where one has to guess the item inside of 5 boxes. Not going to elaborate on what is inside the boxes, but 75 people managed to get only one correct, 10 people managed to get two correct, and five people managed to get three correct. Now, how many people got 4 correct and 5 correct? (I have a feeling the answer is already obvious, but we'll see.)
I actually messed up the question and forgot to put the people who got three correct. Nevertheless, your answer is correct. The reason behind this is simple; imagine if we decreased the boxes so that only two were remaining. If the person was able to answer one correct, then the other item will be automatically discovered because you only have two options and now that you are sure of one answer, it will be very obvious for you to get the second answer. That's the same for this question; the people who guessed 4 correct all automatically answered 5 correct, which is a perfect score, since it is pretty similar to the example I gave above. In the end, 10 people got 5 correct and 0 people got 4 correct. Now, if you may, please ask another logic question!
*Ahem* A couple, both with green eyes, are having a staring contest in their home. Their home has white, flowery wallpaper, a dark green flooring with a checker pattern, and a purple ceiling, with the house being only one floor. What color are the stairs?
Why do people always happen to post when I am typing, and that makes my reply look stupid? The thing that threw me off in that riddle was all the unnecessary information about the house, and how 'stares' was replaced by 'stairs'.
aw heck i didn't think i would get it right and i'm super bad at these kinds of things. i'm gonna let someone else ask for me if thats okay
Okay then. Two fathers and two sons go fishing. They each caught exactly one fish. When they arrive home, they have only 3 fish. No fish were lost, released, eaten or otherwise gotten rid of. How is this possible?
*There were only three people. The grandfather, the father, and the father's son. The Grandfather is the father of the son's father, the father is both a father and a son, and the son is, well, a son.
