I am working on creating a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition one-shot, that is Rune Factory themed. It is going to be streamed live on Twitch sometime in November. There are currently two open spots available for it, with a potential third slot being open depending on the availability of one of the current players. If you are interested in playing a Rune Factory themed one-shot on stream, feel free to reply to this thread, and I'll send you a PM with the link to the Discord for it. New players are welcome, and there are currently plans to run a "get to know the rules" one-shot this month, to help any new players (such as the streamer) be comfortable with playing. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
This sounds interesting, though I'm not sure yet if I'll be available. I've never played DnD before but it sounds fun and I've been looking for a chance to finally give it a try.
I've always been looking for a D&D group for so long. But every time I "find" one, they usually don't play after one session. I know of some D&D basics, but I've always wanted to get the full experience. Id be willing to join, but there might be a few hiccups. My first problem, is that I know absolutely nothing about "Rune Factory". Never played the game, nor have I ever heard of it, so if that's a red flag, I understand. Another issue is time... If I learned anything from playing with Australians for nearly three years, is that Time Zones are a big issue when it comes to playing with large groups of people online. (Just leaving this here cause I can, I live with Atlantic time zone, as of posting this post, it is slightly over 9 : 30 A.M.) My last issue is my job. I am currently working at Burger King, and I'm always working the night shift. Sometimes I get out of work at 1 in the morning, so if I were to play, I'd have to double check my schedule. If all of that sounds bad, than I understand being unable to join the stream. But I'd still like to chat about your D&D group, if you're willing. Edit: Had to change the written time cause if I write 9 : 30 without space, it gives out an emoji. (9 : 30 without space between the colon, looks like this; 90)
If you two are available, then you are welcome to play. Some further details, that may help you know if you could be available: It will be on a week-night, likely Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. While a time hasn't been decided, it would likely start around 6pm CST, and go until 10 or 11pm CST. There's also the option of both of you playing in the "get to know the rules" one-shot (which would probably be on a Sunday evening, or Saturday afternoon), even if you can't make it to thr streamed one-shot. If you are still interested in either, let me know and I'll get you the Discord link.
Yeah, I'm interested. Again, I'd have to check my schedule next time I go to work in order to find a good date, but I'd like to partake in anything D&D related.
I'm interested, though whether or not I'll be available for the main stream will depend on how swamped I'll be with school that weak. I should be available for the one-shot at least, unless something unexpected comes up. At least for Saturday, anyway. Sunday would be a bit more iffy.
Sorry, I forgot to get on to check again after the 7th. The learning the rules one-shot is this Sunday, and I know that I have 4 players, with two people that I am waiting to here from confirming if they will be there or not. If I do another in the future, I will try keep you in mind
So if anyone was thinking to themselves "I don't want to play in this, but I'd be interested in watching that" you're in luck. The game is being streamed tonight at 5pm CST on Twitch. The streamer is Utinsel
