    Oh, thanks for the map. It is slightly different, though. I had them in two rows facing opposite each other, then the main guild building to the east + entrance from the west. Sorry I didn't make that clear first, haha.

    Well right now the precision isn't too much of a problem but I will cook something up in the future.

    I'll let it slide this time. Kanaru wasn't established in-scene, but for future scenarios like this, if you want to enter, let me know first and I'll edit your roll into the post.

    Also, heads up - for the rest of this scene, y'all will get a good chance to see more spells and get inspiration for the future - or your current spells, if you don't have them finished.

    By the end of the scene after this one, that is two scenes from now (you'll know when it happens), I expect the beginning spell lists completely done, because from that point onwards your characters will start using magic, and if you don't, they will not be allowed to use spells IC until they're finalized. And if you get into combat without spells, get creative, or bust.

    Anyway, all that said, I'm going to let the next post play out soon! Keep an eye for that.

    Two things to say in one post. Wow (choco does this in half the posts)

    First thing - quick nudge for the IC thread. I know I can technically respond, but I want to wait for a few other responses first given you know, everything that just happened in there. (FYI, even if your character wasn't watching the Alchemist stand, you could probably see the explosion.)

    On another note...

    Spells are complete now!

    I would recommend you guys check in with everyone else's so you have the ability to try and combo your spells for team attacks or to boost each other or you know all that jazz. You can nudge for team attacks out of character, or have your characters kind of nod at each other before doing something. In-universe, it will be likely you've all seen each other practice your spells so your characters know their teammates' abilities.

    Also: Please note that unless stated otherwise ("can be done passively"), a spell will take one action in battle. If it can be done passively, you can cast the spell and a second action on your turn unless the roll and the state of the battle say otherwise.

    For example, if Robin were to cast a Thundershock spell and wanted to do it through his sword to stab someone, he would not need to take a turn beforehand preparing his sword. He can just cast Thundershock.

    Now without further ado! Here's the full party spell list!

    Dexterity Boost (1): General acrobatics increase. (Transmutation, Vitality)

    Minor Hover (2): Summons upward currents beneath target. Chance to negate fall damage. Also one can go horizontally further (bout 3-5 m) and improve jump height to a solid 1m while this is active underneath someone. (Terraforming, Duelist)

    Air Burst (2): Burst of wind that shoves people backwards and deals a little damage. Can blast up to 1.5-2m. (Terraforming)

    Weapon Infusion (2): Allows for casting of spells through weapon. Can be done passively.
    Heal (2): Can probably heal some pretty bad bruises at this point, or bad cuts. (Vitality, Transmutation)

    Energy Restoration (2): Can make a Luminous or construct tank a few more hits. (Vitality, Summoning)

    Fall Hit Reduction (2): You still take damage, just not as much, from a hard fall. Can be done passively on one target, but further casting will take an action for each additional targets. (Transmutation, Vitality, Duelist)

    Dexterity Boost (1): General acrobatics increase. (Transmutation, Vitality)
    Minor Illusion (2): Can trick any one of five senses. 50cm radius maximum, range of 3-4m while focusing. Unfocused, can be passively applied to something as small as a Luminous (max range/distance halved) (Bard)

    Amplify (2): Kanaru can cast spells through her flute, which will widen radius or effect of the spell cast. Passive. (Bard)

    Beam Attack (2): A beam attack that hits a roughly 1.5m diameter cone with a distance of 5m (Duelist)

    Telekinesis (1): Total mass of items carried must be within 1 kg (rough limit), up to 5 ft away, and requires focus. (Duelist)
    Surveillance (2): Takes the form of Minerva (small crow at this level). Flies up and scans surrounding area for Robin for a short period of time. Image is sent telepathically to his brain. (Summoning)

    Thundershock (2): Decent blast of lightning. (Terraforming, Duelist)

    Sword Infusion (2): Infuses spell through sword. Can be done passively. Less likely to miss in close-range. (Battlemage)

    Sand Attack (1): GO POCKET SAND and it's got a range of like 1-2 m, plus some quick damage. (Terraforming)
    Hook Lasso (2): Grabby lasso. Up to like 2.5 meters for now, more difficult to break than normal rope with most means. Chain binds to the Luminous, whatever's grabbed goes towards Wakeng. (Duelist)

    Dash (2): A dash across ground. Decent distance, like 3.5-5 m per dash. No up dash. Yet. (Duelist)

    Floating Shield (2): Construct. Covers two people. Remains where it is after summoning, can be moved as an action outside an attack. (Summoning)

    Throw Boost (1): Throwing arm boost. Can be done passively. (Transmutation, Vitality)

    If some of these names are a bit funky, you don't have to use them exactly - just make it clear to me 1. if you're casting a spell and 2. what spell you are casting. Jup doesn't have to say "Wakeng cast Floating Shield", he can just say "Wakeng used his Luminous to create a shield in front of XX".

    For actions/turns in combat, I'm flexible on how much you can do on one action. If you have any questions on if you're doing too much in your post or if you can do more during one turn, you can reach out to me, or I'll take care of it otherwise. DM draws lines.

    Outside of combat, unless you get interrupted (and I will make it clear when you will be), you have all the time in the world to cast as many spells as you want.


    Edit: no I refuse to put the the spells in order of level

    Edit 2: Wave changed one of Kanaru's spells (Emotional Aura was booted for Amplify, the Bard infusion.)

    Hey, c'mon, you guys made most of these spells! I just shoved them into boxes until they fit in-game.

    Besides, this is only the starting list. There's still about 30+ points left of spell to make for each of you. I'll warn you as they come up (and there will be offtime/downtime where your characters have time to train offscreen as you come up with the spells. I'll handle those when I handle those.)

    Random question: Would a ride-able big cat (like, Persian-sized cat at least) make sense for a level 5 cat spell? Just recently watched this episode of Marriland's Let's Go Pikachu playthrough and found the "riding a big cat" part fun~
