What's this? A surprise event? Something I have always associated with the holidays is cooking and baking. To this day I still take a day with my mom to cook up some meals and treats for the holidays. So that gave me the idea, lets have a holiday baking event! Ill have this open until January 4th. Post a picture of whatever meal you prepared with a little paper with your username and the date to qualify. This can be a savory or sweet meal/treat, up to you! Once the contest is closed ill put the entries up for judging in the staff section and we will select a podium of the top 3 entries for some prizes! So get your piping bags and flaky pastry ready, its time to bake!
Right when this is announced, I was baking Press Cookies. This is probably one of many baking creations I will make this month. Spoiler: My baked goods Press Cookies 2: Electric Boogaloo (12/18/20): Also, does Fudge count? Because I may make some Cherry Vanilla fudge.
So I baked an Oreo cake today. Tried to make it look nice. Spoiler And I also baked some muffins today. Spoiler
My dad's birthday was a few days ago and I ended up making the cake. Not quite holiday-themed or anything but I did bake it this month so I might as well submit it. (It also tastes better than it looks.) Spoiler: Images
Thank you all for your delicious looking entries! I will bring these samples to the rest of the mods for a review and get back to you guys with a winner soon!
And the winner is, @HeroofFire101 's press cookie army! We forgave the lack of username proof since you had a bunch of pics of them. They looked both yummy and festive. It was close though, the lovely flower garnish on your cake @Cherry3Fairy was really charming as well. And @BZRich64's tasty looking mess got some laughs but no doubt the consistency of the cake itself looked nice. Thank you all for participating in this fun new activity! I hope you all had a safe and fun holiday season.
