Hello, everybody. So thanks to Halloween sales on steam, I was able to get the Jackbox Party Pack 4, and 6 for a pretty good price. Since I only have a single sibling a few IRL friends, I was thinking about organizing some sort of game night for Jackbox. Now this can be set up for any time of day, so it doesn't necessarily need to be at night time, but I'm aware that most of us users have day jobs. If any of you guys are interested, we can discuss it here. That way we can figure out a good date for some Jackbox. If you don't know what's Jackbox Party pack is, it's essentially some party minigames that you can play with a decent sized group. Each party pack comes with 5 or so games, so there's some variety. You don't necessarily NEED to know how to play each game (Hell, i only know a few of them, since I haven't played it yet, and I need friends), since most of time, we're just laughing and having a good time. If you're cuious on what minigames party pack 4 and 6 come with, you can watch the video posted below to get an idea. Spoiler: Trailers for 4 and 6 Sadly, I didn't have a ton of money to get all the other ones, so keep in mind that I only own 4 and 6. If any one of you owns any other party packs, let me know on discord so that we can coordinate this event together.
All? Or at least most of them it looks like. I really only played at a friends a few times and over facebook for a while so we can figure out what we want to play once we have some people to go with.
Okay so right now it seems like we have a good amount of people willing to play. He goes by @Global Warming And Discord users @Bad Video Game and @Neb who showed interest. That's 8 for now, which I believe is a good number to start things off. More people can join if they wish, but I think we should begin discussing available dates and plans.
Since time zones are evil, Fridays and Sturdays work the best for me. There I might be able to stay awake long enough.
I'd definitely say that weekends, particularly Saturday, are the best for me. Anytime of the day is fine from about 11 AM EST to 2 AM EST
I should be open unless it's Tuesday, Thursday, or around 10AM-1PM EST on any other day. Otherwise I am open whenever, although I do have other party game groups as well that might want to game at a similar time.
I'm open whenever too unless stated otherwise but prefer after about 10pm. You don't have to use that as a guideline.
Okay, so it looks like everyone seems to be free in the weekends. Obviously Sunday isn't a good pick, due to people needing to wake up early on Mondays, so it seems like everyone is happy with Saturday as the day. I'm gonna need a response from, @Neb to confirm their availability, But for now, let's assume their free on Saturdays. Which Saturdays will be the best pick for you guys. I'm aware that people aren't always free, since they can get an unexpected visit from their families, or work related things can pop up. So I'd like to ask before I start browsing through my calendar.
I apologize for the pings ahead of time, everyone. @Augur Jeydis @Captain Comet @Wizard @LassusVulpes @Duo @Neb It seems that if ALL OF US want to play in November on Saturdays, it needs to either this week, or next week (the 6th and the 13th). I'd suggest Fridays as well, so that we can have slightly more options, but I'll ask Y'all to make sure. Hey, @Wizard, I know you said that Saturdays are best for you, but what about late Fridays? I'll understand if you work on Saturdays as well. If it's not possible, then we can always continue this on a different date.
Good to know. So we now have slightly more options. If we want absolutely everyone to join within this month, we've got the 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th. The 5th might be too short notice, since its two days from now, but if every one wants it, I will not say no. So now it's up to everyone to choose when we want it. Honestly, I'm free for all of them.
Dispite not being present, because my power decided to die yesterday of all days. It seems like y'all had a ton of fun yesterday (Being told by Lassus, so I shall take his word with a grain of salt). But why only have a single night of fun, when we can just schedule more meetings. Here's what I was thinking. Every 2 weeks, we meet up again, and play some more jackbox. I feel like that's enough time for a break, yet frequent enough to stay exited. In other words, since it was played yesterday, we shall ignore next weeks Saturday (20th), and we'll play again on the other week (27th). It doesn't even need to be on a Saturday if y'all want, And it can be changed in a later or earlier date if everyone's not feeling it. I just feel like events like this should be done more than just one time. It doesn't even need to be just jackbox, but just an excuse to hangout together and laugh at silly and stupid jokes.
