Happy Pride Month! So last year I made a poll just asking people to say what they identify as, mainly just because I was curious. It was already July and I discovered there were a lot of groups I didn't know about. SO I'M DOING IT AGAIN! Unfortunately the site only allows up to ten choices for a single poll and only one poll per thread so I had to cut some options just to make room. If you happen to identify as something I didn't list, just go ahead and mention it in the replies. As for me (and I know most of you probably know this already), I am a trans lesbian woman as of early 2019. Though that's all mental for several reasons; I haven't actually transitioned get. Which just makes me thankful that I have a place like this where I can embrace it without anyone I actually know irl making things... well complicated. Now I ask that you scream whatever you are from the rooftops of this lake for all to hear! It's Pride Month dammit embrace it! (But if you don't want to I totally understand don't feel like I'm pressuring you to)
Cis woman here. I'm straight-ish, as in straight leaning to ace. The thing is, in my country, there's a pretty huge societal backlash if you don't identify as both cis and straight unless you can justify it as a medical condition or something. That's why irl me has been keeping my ace part to myself. And speaking of, I remember hearing a case of a trans man who was AFAB but somehow has a male's growth pace. That counts as a medical thing according to the news back then.
Howdy folks! Nonbinary ace here! Last year at this time I was still relatively new to the community but after a year, I have come to know myself better with these terms.
We have a lot more aces on this site compared to other LGBTQ+ spectrum identities haha. Not that I'm complaining as an aroace myself!
hooray, ace gang! i'm also nonbinary, i use the term as is because i don't need anything more precise and also i like the flag. i'm also very probably demiromantic or somewhere on that spectrum, and i did like the term lesbian a lot at some point, but rn i don't feel like exploring that side much more. pronouns are they/them + neopronouns i made (shey/ther, singular verbs) :]
im straight. STRAIGHT VIBIN THAT IS lol what is straight?? must not be important because they didnt teach me that in school (dw all 1-2 straight people in this thread i love you <3) jokes aside "vibin" is my legitimate answer to this question in a way LMFAO i also interchange "vibin" with "not a dude not into dudes" because yeah!! thinking about this sort of shit hurts my brain and i just wanna exist man..... i am just like a fish floating in the ocean that is this hell of a world. brain empty. am fish. life is good.
Over the last couple of years I have been figuring things out about myself and I am now comfortable saying I am pan. I am in a super long term, death do us part relationship with a man so its not particularly apparent but still its my identity
I'm pansexual, but I lean a bit more towards being attracted to women and nonbinary people (although there are exceptions). In terms of gender identity I am definitely gender fluid. There are days I am a man, days where I am women, and days where I am neither. Despite living in a very liberal city, I've still been heckled for trying to dress in a way that matches my gender identity. Instead I dress androgynously as a sort of compromise.
