Calling all girls! How much do you know about makeup products? Like, the common products used, their names, what they do, blah blah blah! Do you really love wearing makeup all the time? Natural makeup, or, a 'littleee' bit more?
Ok. So I don’t wear makeup often. I don’t like the feeling of it, and I have no desire or effort to put any on for school or something. The only time I will wear any is for color guard, in which case it is required. And we wear lots of makeup for it. Also that is the only reason I know how to use makeup.
I know almost nothing about make-up. When I do wear make-up for an special occasion, I tend to lean towards a more natural look because it's what I can do and what I prefer to do. But otherwises, nope. For a con, on the otherhand. Holy crap. I go all out and confer with my sister (who is much more make-up savvy than I) about how to look fine.
I love makeup and special effects cosmetics. Sadly dad's not fond of make up so I'm not able to wear them often. And when I do get to, he enforces 'natural' tones (to the point I can't even wear black mascara, which is the common color! It *has* to be brown to match my hair) I really enjoy pastels or darks though. :c I'm allergic to something that's commonly used in eye makeup so I have to get special blends at professional makeup stores such as Sephora. Finding stuff my skin tone is also difficult as I'm pretty freaking pale, like, I used to be the school vampire pale, lol. I really like makeup discussions, I don't mind helping in what ways I can
I'm not into makeup much. Honest. I usually put moisturizing cream, foundation(not often), fairness cream, powder, and compact. Light lipstick, lip balm, and maybe sometimes mascara, eye-liner. It does sound too much, Ik, but trust me on this one; even if I name many other products as well, I literally, literally go for a natural look. Throwing all that makeup on my face and rub the whole lipstick...nope. Not my thing. I'm also not into eye makeup much.
I never wear makeup. The only exceptions were prom and homecoming back in high school. Unless costume makeup counts, I've done that occasionally for Halloween and conventions if I wear a costume. It just feels too gross to wear on a regular basis though. I like watching nail tutorials on youtube sometimes though. They can be kind of interesting just from a design perspective.
I absolutely despise the thought of putting on makeup (I call anything related to the stuff Warpaint) and I only even think about putting it on when my mother forces me to wear some for some band concerts. The reason for this is that I don't like the way it feels on my face and it makes me and everyone else look fake and ugly to me.
