Manga Hack Game?

    For any of you who read the Pokémon manga, you have to say it is really good. I was wondering if anyone was interested in a manga hack game? I think that I could make it though it would take a long time as I would have to balance it out with school work. There would be just one game at first but I was hoping that I could make different versions of the game corresponding to the different main characters. If anyone would be willing to play these games let me know because I may make them. Thanks for reading.

    I think it would be nice to see your game! I already know there are quite a few of manga hacks out there x3 They all seem fun and all! I hope to see your hack one day! I love the manga <3

    If I get at least 20 people to say that they would like a game like this then I will start making it. Again note that it will take me my take me a year or more to finish it just because 1. I want it to look and be good 2. I have school to do before making a game. 3. I am leaning kind of how to make a hack(ik how to it is just that I have never done it before).

    Well I assume it should pretty much be anime+manga since a lot of them have series that go hand in hand.

    If it were to be based off the anime then that would be Ash gray. This is just manga only and it would be of the first series (red, blue, green, yellow series). I may also work on the Gold, Silver, Crystal series as well and that would be the only ones that I would work on because I have not read on form there. I have also gotten everything that I need to make it so I can start it when ever this gets more post.

    I tried to download it and then play it on the visual boy but it does not work. Also I have plans to make the blue, green, and yellow chapters as well as the red one. I have been wanting to do this for almost a year and I can now.

    @[member="DJTiki"] Isn't that one incomplete? If it isn't, I'm surprised then. Also, I feel like it would be better if they went by the original names, and maybe even used fifth gen engines. Using Blue for the boy is honestly annoying, because he has green eyes, and his original name is Green. The girl's name is Blue, because she has blue eyes, and that is her original name. Either way, I guess it looks okay, but I'd rather play one where... I don't know. It just has to have better mechanics, and no fakemons or anything. Plus, I'd like for the characters to be original versions of themselves, like I said already. I think Empoleon can actually do a good job, whether it is on a fifth gen engine or not. Either way, I'll happily wait for Empoleon's version x3

    @[member='ThatPsychoticPichu'], I was thinking of using fire red as the model, but I can look around and see if I could make it on a 5th gen engine. For the most part I would just want to change the fire red sprites and the game and then work on something bigger like making it on a 5th gen engine. I want the game to be like you are reading the story except allowing you to get other Pokémon besides the ones that red, green, and blue have. That is just my thoughts, I will look into seeing on how to make it on a 5th gen engine because that could make it look really good.

    O.O There's not alot of research and knowledge done on 5th Generation to make a substantial hack on it, especially with the lack of any tools for it. The only thing you have is Spiky's DS Editor and a Hex Editor. I would reccomend using Fire Red. Alot more research, you can do anything you want with ASMAGIX(Assembly programming language), plus there are ALOT more tools and things like Fairy Type patches, more movesets and JPAN's Fire Red Hacked Engine(which is the equivalent of Jesus Christ in hacking). :)

    @[member='DJTiki'], Okay thanks, I don't think I will add fairy type to the game because like I said before I want it to be as close to the book as possible while allowing people to make up their own teams. I would make only certain events happen if you have some of the Pokémon that red has for example having poli evolve when he saves red. I am not sure how I would work out with eevee( for those of you who have read the manga) but I will see what I can do with it. Thanks again.
