Ever since the introduction to time and clock based events, time has played an important role in Pokémon games. Sometimes certain events or Pokémon only occur at a certain time of day or day of the week. I confess that when I got ORAS, I read that the Lilycove Department Rooftop Sale was on a Saturday, and of course, having my secret base location made on a Monday, I did not want to forget about getting extra decorations, so I changed my internal clock to Saturday just to buy all the items in advance. Lets be honest here, how many of you have changed the internal clock of your gaming system just to make these events happen without waiting for an exact moment in time?

I've changed it a lot... But once I got what I wanted I changed it back so it would still be accurate haha. I try not to do it much though.

Yes, I have changed the internal clock for in-game events like this, and I don't see any shame in that. The prime example here is the Mega Stones in X&Y, which were only findable during a specific hour of the day. I'm not going to wait for that if a few button presses can skip all of that :D

I also did a similar thing for Kurt in HG/SS. It takes him a day to make those custom Pokéballs, but you can't just skip to the next day. Instead, you have to change the time to 11:59, go in-game, and wait for a minute to pass :D Works every time!

Im too honest to do that.

And I think we learned in Pokémon mystery dungeon what happens when you mess with time xD

I have changed my in game timer a lot. I don't want to have to wait for that one specific time to get a legendary or an item. If I can push a button and get past the arbitrary and tedious wasting of time I'd have to do otherwise, then why would I not push that button?

I've changed my gametime for a few games, but, surprisingly, Pokémon isn't one of them. I don't know why I haven't, I've thought about it, but I never did. Maybe I will in the future, though xD

I've manipulated time a few times in games to get stuff I needed, but I've always quickly swapped them back. I bugged me if my DS wasn't set to the correct date and time, haha.

Yeh, I've done it a lot. I don't like doing it, since it messes with some stuff like berries or whatever, and I always change my clock back afterward... but I don't like putting something I want to do on hold for a few actual days when I can just change the clock.

I've NEVER done it, which is kind of weird. I was always scared that my data would somehow get corrupted, so I never even touched it. Of course, manipulating time is a little to much power for me to handle.

I've never done it on my 3DS. I always worry what very major consequences this may have (probably not many, but still). Though I'm ok doing it on my old DS. It's ancient, and will certainly have no consequences!

I've changed it a lot, not really for ORAS though since most time based things in ORAS freezes for 24 hours if you tamper with the clock and I've never really been too eager to get the to the Lilycove clearance sale for some reason. In games before ORAS though you bet I abused the clock.

Yep. I changed the time to a time when it was raining so I could get a Goodra, as well as for Mega Stones. Other than that, I haven't really touched it - I hate to think that my clock is inaccurate! :P

It never felt right to me to do it. Weird thing to have a moral crisis over, I know.
I've never really been into 100%-ing games, either, and since I generally refuse to look things up, I suppose that contributes. Can't really change th clock for something you don't know about, ne? ^_^"

I manipulate time if I need to catch a new legendary or something. I have always loved being able to change the time when I need to get something accomplished.
