How many songs do you own? How many albums? How often do you purchase songs? Do you have any favorites? Do you listen to them often?

Whenever I hear about how great Spotify is, the waterworks begin:-: It's still unavailable in my country.

I only "own" one album and that's the one that U2 gave out for free. ._.

I own around 50 albums I guess. Only 2 of them are digital. I rarely purchase music now, though.

How many musics do I have? I recently switched my music player of choice from Zune to Aimp, which thankfully has a more technical main view than Zune. At the top of my music library it gives me a summary of my entire contents: 7659 audio songs, 51.28 GB, and the total length of time? 20 days, 1 hour, 9 minutes, and 52 seconds.

Okay, the actual figure is a bit smaller, but I have at least 7000 actual songs. There are probably some sound effect clips from some classic videogames in there, some re-releases, and some duplicates. I know my Apocalyptica discography is screwed up, and there are some songs there that I have listed like six times each. I need to clean it by hand, not let an automatic utility do it.

I have about 350 albums listed and, honestly, maybe 10% of those I own physical. My favorites? Out of 350? Ugh, I'll just quickly list a few. Metallica's Black album, Rock Man Zero's "In Resonance" piano remaster album, "99 Darkest Pieces of Classical Music" (best 99 cents I ever spent), "99 Most Essential Classical Pieces For Your Mind" (best 198 cents I ever spent, but not as good as the best 99 cents), Maverick Rising 4-disk album from OC Remix, Gojira's "The Way of All Flesh" album, and Solution.45's "For Aeons Past".

That last one, For Aeons Past, was probably the most recent album I bought physical, and it was 2010. Everything since then has been some digital distribution or another.

Twenty days of music, never hearing the same thing twice? I need to get a hold of myself.
