    Heh. Somebody had to make the thread. So you people out there, despite all the nerdiness, does anybody else appreciate the sport as well? The tournament just makes me feel so alive xD I get so hyped on competition because I'm such a competitive person and I love the competition and thrill and drama and I'm way too competitive for my own good. Regardless, its just lots of fun to watch and theres some strategy and I love statistics and following my favorite teams/players. This is just my time of year.

    So, what picks have you made? The Kentucky hype because they are 34-0, the supposed good matchups against them in Wisconsin and Duke... who do you think will go far? My prediction was Kentucky (obviously), Arizona, Villanova, and Iowa State (yuppppp). I had Iowa State all the way, and Arizona runner-up. Iowa state we all know how well that turned out. I was banking on that side of the bracket being teams famous for choking (Duke, Gonzaga, Georgetown), and I know Iowa State was strong. Evidently they like choking too, while Duke takes a 29 point win. My bracket's not dead but looking bad without a national champion already.

    Oh boy, March Madness is finally here.

    The Kentucky hype is too much IMO, but when you're undefeated, everyone will be gunning for ya. If there are any teams that can take them out IMO, they are Kansas, Notre Dame, (Both in the Elite Eight), Arizona, Wisconsin (In the Final Four) Villanova, Louisville, Virginia, & Gonzaga (If they make it all the way to the National Championship.) I have Arkansas going all the way over Gonzaga. My Final Four was Texas (Who are eliminated), Arkansas, Villanova, & Gonzaga. As for upsets, SMU got robbed by a late call, & Baylor got absolutely shocked. As for all the other action, Harvard couldn't pull off another win as a double-digit seed, Louisville, West Virginia won by 2 & 6 points respectively, when everyone (including myself) had predicted a blowout. I will be 8 of 8 in the East bracket if Providence wins. Been a wild NCAA Tournament so far & I hope to see some more great action from the Sweet Sixteen all the way through to the National Title Game.

    Go Notre Dame, Villanova, Xavier, Georgetown, & most importantly, go Arkansas!

    And yeah, I'm kinda bummed about Iowa State, I had them winning over Arizona too :(

    How does that happen. Exact same... all psychotic coincidences aside, back to nature lady I'm proud to say I did pick dayton over providence. I know they've been good tourney teams, I'm curious to see if they can make a run again. I can't imagine arkansas going all the way, but hey maybe they could. I'm just really excited for the Michigan State-Virginia game the most, I've grown up a huge Michigan State fan and I know they have a shot at pulling the upset. Being a big ten person, I will say I don't think Wisconsin will get too far, and Ohio State is something to be scared of. Kentucky... just can't handle them. They have such a tall, agile, incredibly good team. Even without the deep bench they're still an admirable threat. Although Cincinatti at this moment in time is hanging in, I can't see Kentucky being beat by anyone but Villanova, maybe Arizona. Can't wait to see how today's games play out though.

    Oops, saw this thread a bit too late didn't I?
    I love the festivities of march madness, and all of the competitiveness of it. Although there isn't a New York team in this year, (it was way more tense, and when I mean by NY teams I mean Syracuse) I still love watching it~
