Being an official endorsement by the International Olympic Committee itself (IOC)
They pump these types of games every 4 years or so...

London was back in 2012, now this has come to pass IN 2016.

This game is released on two different platforms. The Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS.
    I have both versions myself.

Only real main difference(s) I can see between the two, are some of the events/characters present and the graphics.
For example, Cream the rabbit is playable only in the 3DS version, in the beach volleyball event.

She isn't featured in the big brother WII U counter part, for reasons unknown...
I know @[member="Eclipse"] and I were discussing this spin off months prior.

It's a fun gaming world if you like sports/mini game kind of fanfare.
If you do not... I suggest getting into Mario Party as an alternative.

Has any Lake Valorians played this/or both versions?
What do you like/dislike about it?
Would you recommend it to a friend or family member?

    Thoughts?

Much as I would love to play these games, I couldn't play starting from Sochi 2014 winter games onwards. I have the Beijing 2008 games, Vancouver 2010 games, and London 2012 games (all on Nintendo Wii), I think the Sochi games onwards is on Wii U right? Which is why I couldn't download or play. :(

Nevertheless, I love this series, they're kinda something new from their usual "save the Princess in another castle" /"get the rings" plot. The crossover between Nintendo and Sega is a big enough interesting factor for me. Dream events were a nice touch, most definitely. Makes you feel the hype for the Olympics along with these games running around. :D

I know I've grown to love those two giant game characters even more, through the Olympic platform.
I especially love the olympics itself, now more than ever, with that branding behind it to carry it forward.
It's a breath of fresh air, from the regular routine of those game mascots, I agree!
