Mario Kart Discussion Thread

Ooh, MK thread! I approve.

The only MK games I've owned were MK7 for the 3DS and MK8 for the Wii U. Love them both but haven't played 8 for some months now since my TV is too tiny and uncomfortable, and no one really goes online for 7 with 8 being out so.. boo. My favorite character to use is most definitely Toadette. These games are so insanely fun and the graphics in MK8 are just breathtaking. 8]

 

I played the Wii version. I love the 3ds version because of the gyroscopic control option which makes it easier for me to race.

 

Does anyone still play MK8? Or possibly even MK7 bahaha? Seems like a lot of people I know moved on to SSB but I'm still much more into MK, though I haven't played in a while because bad TV.. </3

 

I'm going to try and buy Mario Kart 8 here in a couple of months. I don't have a very large WiiU game library and Mario Kart games always hold a great spot in whatever library they are in.

 

I've just started playing Mario Kart 8 as of yesterday, it's my first Mario Kart game. What do I think? I love it. It is a ton of fun. I'm not that great at it yet but I really get in to it and I haven't had this much fun with a video game in a couple of months. It is really, really good. The tracks and music are both beautiful too, I highly recommend this to anyone who has a Wii U.

And that Animal Crossing DLC though. I've already bought it alongside the Legend of Zelda one. Can't wait for April!

 

Mario Kart 8 is pretty fun! I'm not a huge fan of racing games, but it is enjoyable to race on my own just for fun. I like to race just by myself, racing with other people gives me a lot of anxiety and I don't like doing it. It's still a fun game regardless! My favorite track is Mute City, I'm a total boss at that track.

 

I've played Mario Kart since the GBA version, Super Circuit, which was actually the first Nintendo game I personally owned which is really cool. Then I spent way too much time on Mario Kart DS and Wii and played a good amount of 7. Now that I have a Wii U I picked up Mario Kart 8 a couple weeks ago and its really great! The DLC is amazing and I'm loving 200cc!

 

So the new DLC is out and I am in love. The Animal Crossing stage is absolutely stunning and needless to say it is now my favorite. I've been playing it like crazy! I took some pics just to show you guys exactly what I mean:

The DLC is amazing. I was totally pumped for Dry Bowser, and the great new karts did not disappoint. Seriously. They look amazing, you need to get it.

 

I'll be able to buy a new TV within the next 30 days or so and am planning to return to this baby! Hopefully we'll all be able to race hehe. Hearing so many great things about the DLC so missing out is an absolute killer at this point, bah. Wanna play!! Look at that gorgeous sunset...* _ *
