Chapter 1-The adventure begins!​

"Max wake up! Today's the day!",my mum called me early in the morning I was feeling tired. I'd been watching TV and I went to bed at half 11.
"I'm...Coming!" I yawned loudly and changed into my normal costume a blue shirt with a red bolt across it and blue ripped-jeans. I walked downstairs and met my mum."How are you mum?Sleep well?" I asked her and all she did was nod,my mother can be a bit plain sometimes. I ate my breakfast and I was about to finished I flinched when my mum screamed.
"You're late Max! Professor Evergreen must be waiting for you,hurry!" my mum was worried so to calm her down I picked up my beg and headed outside.

I ran to the laboratory where my mum's old friends works,Professor Evergreen,more known as the Professor of Pokemon. He's about 37 with straight black hair and tan skin.He's a nice guy but I think he's a bit angry at the moment."Max where have you been? There's only two Pokemon left!". I kinda trembled then,what if the one I wanted wasn't there? I still opened the two pokeballs that were displayed and let out the pokemon. One was a Froakie and one was an Oshawott. I was relieved,my favourite type is water you see,I didn't know which one to pick but I ended up with my finger pointing at Froakie.The Prof. handed over the Pokéball and I said,"Thanks Professor Ever-" I broke off and fell to the ground,the wall had been destroyed! Two figures strode in and they said,"You petty people. Think we are bad.Don't hesitate.It'll make us sad.All we want are those precious creatures.We're just Pokémon preachers! I'm Olivia and this is Mark and here's our Pokémon Pikachu the Spark!".
Their voices annoyed me and I sent out my new friend and stood up,"Froakie...Use Pound!" my friend bounded up to the Pikachu and punched with all it's might but the Pikachu was strong and it shocked Froakie.
"Well,well what do we have here?A trainer trying to make us shed a tear?Give us that Oshawott now or pay! I don't think any of us need a delay!" the Pikachu pounced towards the Pokéball and Oshawott immediately burst out.
"Oshawott,no!" I shouted,I wouldn't let these crooks take Pokémon. I told Froakie to throw frubbles at the pair of crooks and then take Oshawott outside,I went over to the Professor and followed Froakie. Once Oshawott and the Professor were outside,I re-entered with Froakie and told him to use Water Gun,it was so powerful that the team of crooks and their Pikachu were sent flying off.
"It should be fine now Prof. Those guys are go-" I stopped as Oshawott came towards me and hugged my legs.
"It seems Oshawott really likes you. Why don't you take it along too?" the Professor told me.
I smiled and said,"Okay,thanks!" I turned to my Pokémon and put them back in their Pokéball. I left the lab and went home,I told my mum that I'm ready to leave and once everything was done.I set off for Route 1.

Chapter 2-Fiery Feelings​

I woke up from my doze,there were voices outside and I could barely sleep. My stomach rumbled and I thought of asking the people outside for food,I stood up and walked out of my tent."Hello there...I'm Max and these are my Pokémon," I indicated Oshawott and Froakie,"I'm very hungry you don't have any food do you?" I said it hopefully. Fortunately the man gave me some food,I ate it and I thanked him. I was about to go back inside my tent when the man said something.
"Max,you remind me of someone,I don't know who but you look similar to someone. Anyway would you like to have a battle with my son?I'm Solomon by the way...Gym Leader of Laveridge Town!" without another word Solomon brought his son to me.
"Hi...I'm Leo this is my Pokémon,Tepig! Do you want to battle?" Leo was a boy,who was the same age as me,who wore a black and blue jacket over a red top,he had black hair and dark tan skin.
"Sure,let me just change...All right then! Let's go!"...

I let out Froakie and Leo told his Tepig to go onto the field we were battling on. I started with Bubble but Tepig dodged it. I threw my frubbles at Tepig's nose,knowing it will block the embers that would burst out of Tepig's nostrils. I told Froakie to end with a Pound but before he could attack Tepig had red aura around him,"How do you like Tepig's Blaze ability,it'll boost my moves up a lot!". I knew the damage it would do if I didn't end this battle quickly,I then realised though,that I had another hard-working Pokémon with me so I let Froakie take it easy. Tepig used Rollout and my Froakie fainted.
"Good work buddy...Now Oshawott c'mon out!",Oshawott came out and I chose to attack quickly,"Oshawott...FINISH IT! RAZOR SHELL!" Oshawott held his scalchop high and then threw it at Tepig! Tepig was knocked over with one blow.
"Tep...Tepig! You did goo buddy,you did good..." Leo returned Tepig and came to shake my hand,then he stopped,"Father,I've just started my journey and so has Max,I'd love to battle him again sometime but I have a better idea.Why don't I just go with Max...I mean he's nice and I can train with him too! You can focus on the gym as well. So what do you say Max?".
I was pretty bombarded by Leo's proposition but he seemed to be nice so I agreed,I looked at Solomon and he nodded.
"Well it's settled. I'll see you dad!" We then walked off towards Route 2.

Chapter 3-The Petalburg Scam!​

Me and Leo walked out of Route 2,we'd trekked through the forest and had a rest at Brendan Salerman's house,one of the greatest sailors in Hoenn!
Leo started to speak,"I think it's time we caught some new Pokémon,don' you?",I looked at him and then I looked at the tall,bushy grass.
"Maybe...I don't look for Pokémon though I let them come to me...What I do is I let Oshawott and Froakie play,when they find a friend I battle and capture it,so they don't get a Pokémon they don't like.",Leo looked at me and sighed.
"Max,if you only capture Pokémon your Pokémon likes you'll never fill up the poxedex! Also,if you never catch Pokémon that aren't compatible at first,you'll never see how they evolve!". Leo knocked some sense into me and I agreed.
"Fair enou-",before I could finish,a wild Hawlucha came at me! "Woah! A Hawlucha!,Oshawott go!" I sent out Oshawott and it immediately threw it's scalchop but Hawlucha is a fast Pokémon and it flew into the air,it posed on a tree and came crashing down,"Flying PRESS!",Oshawott rolled out the way and let the Hawlucha get hurt on the ground..."Oh no! Leo we gotta get Hawlucha to a Pokémon Centre,now!".Leo nodded and headed into Petalburg City and I followed him.

While Max and Leo were in the Pokémon Centre...

"Hmm...Where'd that Hawlucha go? It owes me!",the Pokémon smuggler left the route,laughing maniacally...

Chapter 4- The Prevailing Prince!

Leo and I rushed to the Pokémon Centre,Petalburg was a small city,there wasn't much in it. Just a gym,a centre,a shop and a few houses.The Gym Leader is really strong,they say she captured Primal Kyogre! Her best friend is Brendan,the sailor just outside Petalburg. He captured Primal Groudon! We rushed to the door of the Pokémon Centre and we found a note,I read it out,"Sorry,the Pokémon Centre cannot take any patients.Nurse Joy is out,please come back tomorrow.," I sighed,"Drat,how will we help Hawlucha now? What do we d-",I stopped when someone tapped me on the back,"Hi there did you say that Hawlucha is hurt? I can help it,if you want me to?",I smiled at the girl,she was pretty and she would definitely be helpful in this situation,"Thanks,I'm Max,and this is Froakie!",I indicated Froakie,Oshawott stayed in his Pokéball but Froakie was always on my shoulder.

After a few minutes of aspirin and what-not the girl cam back,"There you go,I'm Allison by the way. I'm training to be a nurse!",Leo spoke then,"I'm Leo by the way," Leo smiled,he'd seen my liking for the girl so he'd stepped out of the way."Do you have any Pokémon with you,I'd love to see th-",I broke off when a raging motorbike rushed into the city.On it was seated a slender man with goggles and other things on him,he suddenly spoke,"Give me that Hawlucha! Or else,my Aromatisse will smash your head!",he was obviously just trying to piss me off,so I just did the same,"Y'know an Aromatisse is a pretty girl-like Pokémon for a smuggler! Who raised you? Katy Perry?",I saw how angry he became and he sent his Aromatisse to battle.I was about to tell Froakie to go in but out of nowhere Hawlucha appeared in the sky,he was soaring down like a plane would when it descended.He landed on his arms and looked up at Aromatisse,"Hawlucha,ready to battle?",I said. Hawlucha nodded.

(This is how I'll battle from now on)

Hawlucha used,Mach Punch.
Aromatisse countered with a Slam...
The battle raged on but Aromatisse was getting tired,I knew I didn't have to command Hawlucha for the last bit,but I still did,"Hawlucha...FLYING PRESS!",Hawlucha soared into the sky and came crashing down,Aromatisse was confused and she took the hit,she fell down."You haven't heard the last of me",the smuggler ran away into the woods. I noticed Alison had watched the whole battle in awe,"I had an idea,why don't I come with you guys? I don't have anything better to do my results are out in months so...Agreed?",I nodded and so did Leo. We were about to walk off but as we headed for the exit a figure suddenly came down from the sky,"HAWLUCHA!" the Pokémon came up to me and rummaged through my bag,it gave me a Pokéball,"You want me to catch you?". I put the Pokéball on Hawlucha's head and he went into the Pokéball,"Welcome to the team Hawlucha",I walked with my friends,off to the next route.
