Meaningful Songs

King and Lionheart by Of Monsters and Men is very meaningful to me, because of the emotions I associate with it.

A lot of songs by Two Steps from Hell as well, and Sticks and Stones by The Pierces are meaningful because they make me feel better when I'm feeling down.

Tragedy + Time - Rise Against

This is a new song by them, but from the first time I heard it to even now, I still get goosebumps listening to the lyrics. I don't know why, but it always lifts my mood.

 

Formidable by Stromae. The reason, simple, it was played on my father's funeral. The same goes for All of me by John Legends, but for some reason I feel more attached to the first one.

 

I enjoy Guide You Home by Rebecca Kneubuhl. It's a song from The Legend of Spyro, Dawn of the Dragon. This song always gets to me, and on a seven hour long car ride, I probably listened to it a thousand times.

This song just has a lot of emotion in it that, for some reason, really gets to me. The simple and quiet nature of the song sounds almost romantic, but in reality, it's a really dark song. I'm not sure why it speaks to me so much, but it just honestly does. I listen to it a lot, especially if I happen to be up late at night.
