Meet Diancie!

They sure don't have much around to look at then do they? Looks like it's trying to squeeze a giant rock-turd out and only managed half-way. But pretty cool though, will probably get it just to have it for if I ever decide to really play again. Wonder how long it's going to be until people are hackfucking perfect ones, as they do.

 

I don't think a sparkly rock is worthly of being compared to 'the loveliest sight in the world'. It's not the worst looking Pokémon but it's strange how they it looks like they were going for a female rock kind of thing. Female rock just doesn't sound right to me.

 

Carbimk is releated to this? *Dies* ANd it's ugly.

 

Yes! I sorely wanted it to be linked to Carbink! Personally I hope it's an evolution. It's not stated as legendary but more 'Mythical', so hopefully that's different. I know the Eviolite doesn't affect Carbink but considering that the information for Diancie was withheld from the game until a later date the information for Carbink's evolution could also have been withheld.

I think I would have to agree with the fact that this definitely looks like some of those nostalgic Pokémon that people don't like but later there's a huge fandom phase about them. I would most certainly like to see the movie, and any more trailers I can find as well. The news about Diancie and the Cocoon Pokémon Movie was actually spotted in the japanese magazine "CoroCoro" by a famous Pokémon website. I think it's due release by July 19 in Japan. However the Pokémon company hasn't revealed anything about how do you get your hands on this new rock/fairy Pokémon in Pokémon X and Y.

Hmm. Now this has me wondering when Volcanion and Hoopa are going to come into play here. Can't wait for the fire-water type match up! I'm not really all that fired up about Diancie though, maybe it'll just be one of those that people collect for the sake of it.

No but seriously I'm happy to hear Diancie's related to Carbink; I thought it was certainly possible.

 

I always thought that Diancie was related to Carbink somehow, they look similar. So when they announced this I was like "I knew it!"
Diancie looks cute and all but since I don't really use legendaries, it will probably stay in the box forever like the others.

 

I honestly really like Diancie. I'm exited to get one in the near future!

 

Don't ask me why, but for some reason, I really don't like how Diancie is related to Carbink. Other than that, I really like Diancie a lot, and I can't wait to get one!

 

I really like Diancie, I think it's an interesting addition to the roster of XY Legendaries. It was rather obvious it was related to Carbink, and not just because of its appearance- carbon (Carbink) makes up diamonds (Diancie), although diamonds are very rare compared to carbon, so the names themselves do relate to each other. I'm looking forward to future events regarding Diancie, I'm personally hoping they do an in-game event instead of just a downloadable one. It's very possible that they would make a DLC event that's only up for a limited time, so that would be very interesting if they chose to do that.

Since Diancie's shiny form was leaked as well, it may be possible for Diancie to be shiny in-game like Carbink. It would be very cool if this was the case, and if you could encounter Diancie in the wild because of an event, I would definitely put time aside to hunt for a shiny one. Shiny Legendaries are always neat.
