    I don't think Meltan will be bad, at least in the unevolved category.

    Melmetal, though... not really sure. Steel has a number of weaknesses, and even with 135 HP he's gonna be taking lots of damage from special moves. If it can learn Bullet Punch and Mach Punch, though, it'll have a fair advantage (esp. due to Iron Fist).

    Hopefully we can give him an Assault Vest, then he would be a tank. Or maybe Double Iron Bash will be considered a punching move and get a boost from Iron Fist.

    Well, he's already a tank, but the issue is that Mega-evolutions and Z-moves are so bloody powerful that it makes the entire concept of tanking rather obsolete.

    If that's his unique move, then it should be affected by Iron Fist; they usually don't give a Pokémon an ability like that without a way to take advantage of it.

    True, but I think with AV and SpDef investment i think it could tank some special hits. Maybe not from Megas tho. Idk
