Memorable NPCs in Pokémon?

I've grown to like the Ghost Girl in X & Y a lot.

My all-time favorite NPC (not counting gym leaders, rivals, E4 etc.) is the "shorts" kid from RBY. Him and Youngster Joey from GSC are legends.

"They're comfy and easy to wear!"

It's so true... though I don't wear shorts myself.

 

I don't have any quotes for them, but the stat trainers in Sinnoh stood out quite a bit for me. I was confused about why there were seemingly irrelevant characters with individual sprites dotted around the place at first but they grew on me quickly. The concept of trainers that specialise in stats is interesting imo since specialisation doesn't go much further than types most of the time

Also the shorts guys were nice

 

Joey. 'nuff said.

 

Drake from the Hoenn Elite Four. I like this guy's philosophy, his speech about Pokémon and all, he has dragons, (I love dragons.) and his remixed theme is absolutely badass.

 

Just reading the word NPC makes me think about aroma lady Rose from route 118. She was an NPC and yet she had abnormal abilities. Also the copycat girl from Saffron.

 

Hooligans Jim and Cas, on Route 9 in Generation V.

"Hey, hey! A bad one teamed up with another bad one! Do you know what it means? That means we are very bad!"

Whoever came up with the quotes in Generation V deserves an award. xP

 

I really liked Cynthia! She's such a strong and one of the most influential NPC's. She's everywhere and helps the player when she can. She's awesome and one of the most notable in my opinion.

 

Riley. He's the person that you team up for a bit in D/P/PT, and he's amazing. He's so cool~
I loved how he could sense your aura, all out of the blue.
