Metroid

It's a decent series, I'll admit. I haven't really played many of the games. I played Metriod Fusion (back during the age of the GBA), and that's about it. My brother played the Metriod: Prime series and Metriod: Other M...

 

I played about 5 minutes of Other M at a friend's house and a bit of the DS one, but other than that, I haven't really played. I think it is a good series from the snippets I've played though

 

Metroid Fusion, please. I loved that game, played it a bunch of times. I made 100% "speed" run, finished in 1:50 something. It was great getting the final timer and realizing I wasn't even able to finish it in over 2 hours

 

I actually couldn't stand Metroid until recently. I'm really terrible at the older games and I've never played the handheld ones. I've owned Prime since it came out on the Game Cube and shelved it due to my crappy gaming skills and anger towards it. But last week, I picked it back up and had loads of fun playing the game. I just wish I had Prime 2 and 3. xD I know they have the trilogy one for the wii but I might as well try to find the game cube versions, since I already have the first one.

 

Metroid Fusion is the game that introduced me to Metroid, really. Way back in the day when you could still find shopping centers(walmart, kmart, target, etc) that had game systems hooked up, almost everyone within twenty miles of my area had Metroid Fusion loaded into the GBA. I must have spent close to two days worth of time draining the batteries every time I went with my parents shopping, they'd just leave me in the gaming area and come back a couple of hours later. The last time I remember playing at a target I had just acquired the Charge Beam before we had to cut things short.

I got Metroid Fusion for Christmas and was fairly happy that year. Eventually I asked for Metroid Prime, Prime 2: Echoes, and of course I rounded that era off with Prime 3: Corruption. Borrowed a friend's Metroid Zero Mission and didn't enjoy it so much but the Prime trilogy was fantastic over all(and those accursed scan logs/item acquistion on the first Metroid Prime has still defeated me to this day, I just can't 100% everything).
