Mew, the real event mystery Pokémon. (Virtual Console and Modern games)

So recently in news for the VC release of RBY, it was announced that Mew would be released as an event for Pokémon XY, and OR/AS. But what was really interested was that if you bought the 2DS Bundle with RBGY you would get a ticket to trade in at a store with Mew. I find this really cool as it's a nostalgic look back on how events were done back in the day, and not only that but I think we can consider Mew being the first event Pokémon in a sense. (Mind you the events are japanese only as I post this, but most likely or maybe we will get it here in NA as well.

Do you think that this is cool that they are considering on doing the Mew event at all for both the modern games and VC games? Would you buy the 2DS bundle just for the sake of getting a legit event Mew instead of a glitched one for the VC games. Do you feel a Mew event is long overdo for awhile in the main games?

I myself am pretty excited.

 

Note the ticket is only to get Mew into Red/Blue/Green/Yellow versions. Those games won't support wifi connection, and mystery gift didn't exist for these games either. The Mew given out for X and Y and ORAS are to be given as codes with the purchase of one of the VC games, sorry if I didn't make that clear.
