i cought him with alot of ultra balls then i trained him and used him before lolol

 

I chucked the Master Ball at him straight up. Ain't nobody got time for that Recover spam shit!

 

i first caught him in a lure ball, you know.. the one made by kurt , normally used for fishing and catching magikarps

 

I tried to catch Mewtwo, unfortunately, this is when I was around 6 so I didn't know what I was doing so it ended p mass murdering my entire team.

 

It took me a long time to get Mewtwo to a low hp. When he was pretty close to dying and after a few ultra balls I finally caught it with a Pokéball. Not just any Pokéball my last Pokéball. I was really happy xD.

 

I caught a few of them back in the day, since I seemed to have the best RNG luck out of all of my friends. SR'ing for ones "with better stats than that" was kinda hard when we didn't know what determined their stats lmao

 

Back in the old days, I never dared to try and catch that thing without a Master Ball. ;w;

I tried in X&Y, but it was incredibly painful. That darn recover... I ended up just using my master ball and soft resetting for some good IVs. What else was I going to use it on anyway? haha.

 

If I remember right I just threw the masterball. To this day I usually save it just for that purpose in the games.

 

I can't blame Mewtwo for spamming Recover, I mean would you want to be captured by a random trainer? After all, it's a Legendary Pokémon, so it's not intended to be easy to catch. And not just any Legendary either, we're talking about freaking Mewtwo, one of the most famous Pokémon, and an all-time fan favorite in terms of power. It's not without a reason that Mewtwo got two Mega Evolutions instead of one. And then, in X&Y, you meet up with the Genetic Pokémon again! The music, man the music! That Gen I throwback was so incredibly awesome! It was just there for the hardcore fans, who had been playing Pokémon since the very first generation, because new players wouldn't recognize the music at all!

And yes, I did manage to catch it, although it wasn't easy xD

 

Never, actually. I don't know why but I just lost the motivation, and I was also very young. Not to mention I JUST got Gold version so I was more interested in beating that.

 

I'm proud to say that I did catch Mewtwo.

I've never gotten that far in the game to be able to capture Mewtwo. I've actually gotten access to Cerulean Cave, but haven't explored it before. In fact, I've never even captured this legendary a single time throughout my time as a Pokémon fan.

 

I used to be obsessed with trying to catch everything with a Pokéball... So I'd sr until I caught Mewtwo with one.

In LG though, I might have used an Ultra Ball? I don't remember.

 

I never bothered to fight it, I would just take the advice presented with my guide and use the Master Ball, at least in RBY anyway. But in FRLG I would fight it and attempt to weaken it, it was grueling but worth using the Master Ball against the legendary roaming beast instead.

 

I mostly tried to use an Ultra Ball to capture instead of the easy route of catching it. The movepool it had wasn't too good, but it was fun to have.
