Mmm coffee...

I don't drink coffee that often, but I like it sweet and creamy. The strongest coffee I'll be able to tolerate still has a sugar packet in it, ahaha. And that was at work, when there wasn't any creamer available so I had to make do.

 

I drink my coffee black, period. Not creamy, not sweet; just hot, strong, and bitter. Somehow, every time I've added any amount of any variety of sugar, flavor, creamer, or lightener it just comes out tasting nasty. At least, nasty to me. I can pass the cup to someone else and they'll love it. I need my cuppajoe plain and strong.

How dark or light I like the roast depends on science and my mood. Darker roasts have that stronger taste and more of an immediate kick, but lighter roasts leave more of the caffeine in tact after heat exposure, so I get that if I'm tired on in desperate need of a focus aid.

(Black as night, hot as hell, strong as love. That's how I enjoy my coffee.)

Side note: tomorrow I'm getting fourth meal with a friend after work and trying decaf for the first time (because regular coffee at 1AM makes me dead the next day). I might update here with my findings on how I like it compared to regular.

 

I generally drink anything coffee related haha. I prefer it with milk, but can make do with it being black if need be, and generally I either add one sugar or (if there's any in the house) a teaspoon of honey. The creaminess usually varies on how I'm feeling. For example, when I have honey in my coffee I usually like to have it super creamy (almost makes it into a hot coffee desert!) but if I'm going plain old sugar, then just plain old milk will do, usually not too much to make it as strong as possible whilst still having the milk in it.

And usually, when buying coffee from a cafe or something, it ends up being a Cappuccino, Mocha, or something similar! After all most of the ones I get at home are regular americano's. Nothing wrong with those, I just really like a variance of coffee in my diet.

I'm a bit of an addict

 

Loaded with Creamer and sugar. I can't stand it straight up, it's really bitter, I have to have some creamer in there to add a nice flavour. My favourite creamer is butter pecan! The sugar helps too. Usually I have some creamer and two tablespoons of sugar.

 

The taste of plain coffee makes me gag, so I typically add at least some milk and chocolate syrup/vanilla and a little sugar. Not too much sugar, though- a lot of sweetness ruins the taste for me. I only ever drink decaf, as well, since caffeinated coffee puts me straight to sleep. No idea why, honestly.
