Most anticipated gym battle?

Tate and Liz! They were some of the hardest gym leaders in Hoenn, so I'm excited to see how powerful they are compared to the old games.

 

I am looking forward to battling Wallace. I usually have trouble defeating him though.

Watson, just because I love Watson He just seems like he has so much fun in what he's doing.

 

Flannery. I had sooooo much trouble moving around her gym and she was really hard to defeat for some reason.

 

I'm looking forward to battling Tate and Liza again, as I always thought they had the most unique gym theme out of all the other gym leaders in the series. Another close pick would be either Juan or Wallace, as I'm really curious to see who will be the current leader as Steven will have the spot as Champion.

 

Norman, because he's my father. At least I hope that's a returning feature haha...

Tate and Liza as well, so I can crush them for giving me so much trouble as a kid!

 

Winona. Fortree city was and still is my favorite Hoenn city, so I'm definitely looking forward to what Winona will be like.

 

Probably watson. He's always been a big challenge to me since I never used blaziken, having that magneton that destroys everything... and now magneton beats fairies too. Not that a kirlia could hurt it anyways I guess but that thing is just fearsome.

 

Norman. It's Daddy's gym after all.
Second would be Wallace and Winona (tied because of Gracefulshipping! )

 

Tate and Liza. I'm interested to see if they will keep killing me a lot like they did back in RSE.

 

I'm actually kind of curious about Brawly's gym. The trailers showed a tiny bit of his gym layout, which looked completely different from the originals. Other that that, I always really liked Tate&Liza's gym. The floor panels that made you spin across the room was like the Team Rocket HQ, but actually enjoyable this time xD

 

Guh, probably Norman. I mean, he's your father and all! He also had a really good/hard-to-defeat team in R/S so I'm excited to experience that in these awesome new graphics. Let's see how much trouble Slaking will give me this time around.

But outside of the father I'm also anxious for Wattson given that he's an electric-type gym leader as it's my favorite type. His gym puzzles have also always been pretty cool! Oh, and can't forget Flannery either, right?! The preview we saw of her gym had me on the edge of my seat.

 

Tate & Liza's. Loved the idea of a double battle gym battle; can't wait to do it again! Also interested to see if they'll have two Pokémon each like in Emerald; they can totally have Gallade/Solrock and Gardevoir/Lunatone.

 

Tate and Liza and Wallace/Juan (hopefully Wallace). I'm hoping Tate will have a Gallade, and that Liza will be rid of her dam Xatu. The bastard keeps killing my Sceptile. ceptile:

 

Tate and Liza, to have revenge for the 1st times I played Sapphire. I WILL AVENGE!!!

If they are keeping the part where Norman is your father, then battling him will be the most fun. It's the only time your character actually has a dad, and you get to beat him! What's not exciting about that?
