Most eggs hatched for shiny?

So, I'm not sure if this is the right place....
Well, I wanna know what is your record of eggs hatched in search for a shiny.
My record is two thousand eggs in search of a shiny Squirtle, though I never managed to breed one. XD

I think so far I hatched 400 eggs for a shiny froakie but I stopped cause I had so many projects to do.

Usually, when I reach one hundred, I get bored and go do something else. But in total, I've hatched at least 500 eggs.
Actually, it's probably a lot more, but I can't say for sure.
