    Since Generation III, there have been two ways to battle: a single battle, or a double battle. Official tournaments, both in-game and out, also frequently have restrictions on the amount of your team available: three for singles, four for doubles.

    What kind of battles do you prefer? What kind of battles would be best to watch?

    I like doing all the kinds of battle. It is really nice to fight xD. I am often in OU Singles, is the most common and it is easier to find other players there. This should be in the Competitive Discussion section :D

    I agree with @[member="Darkest Ninja"] (on both points).
    Whatever battle I do usually is based off of what team I use (I only use Greninja on doubles teams, its access to Mat Block is really useful) but usually its single battles.

    Single and double battles. If it weren't for VGC though, I probably never would've gotten into doubles. Triple and Rotation battles are a little too gimmicky for my taste. Sky Battles are alright; not too overly gimmicky.

    As for tiers, I'll do just about everything, but I have a strong preference for lower tiers, namely RU and NU.

    It usually depends on my mood, but I can do OU Singles all day long if you let me. I'm also not too shabby in Smogon Doubles or the new VGC.

    Tiers don't really matter to me, as long as I get a nice, intense battle.
