Most Favorite and Least Favorite Mega Evolution?

Favorite: Mega Mawile (you might have guessed that) The addition of a second huge jaw was something I had in mind for a regular evolution when they announced Mega Mawile.
Least favorite: Mega Heracross. That thing is a total joke. It looks ridiculous, stupid, and worse than its normal form. I am quite sure it doesn't really give Heracross a great competitive advantage, because I have never seen anyone use it. And on top of that, nobody ever talks about it. It's like we're all trying to forget about its existence.

 

I understand not liking it for its appearance, but Mega Heracross is horrifying in competitive. It has the second highest Attack stat out of all the 718 Pokémon (losing only to Mega Mewtwo X), it has decent bulk, a wide range of moves, plus Skill Link to help break subs and deal massive damage. Its only downside is its low Speed, but if you can set up with a Speed Boost/Swords Dance Baton Passer (ie: Scolipede), you've pretty much won right there. Just because its design is weird doesn't make it a bad Pokémon to use.

Anyway, as for my favorite Mega, I have to say Mega Charizard Y. It's fun as hell to use, plus its ability works fantastically with its moveset, and its design really improves upon Charizard's original design without making it look too gaudy or different. Some of my other favorite Megas include Gyarados, Pinsir, Scizor, and Mawile.

My least favorite is probably either Manectric or Kangaskhan. Neither are bad Pokémon, I just am not particularly fond of their designs.

 

Hm, I didn't know Mega Heracross was good for competitve. I haven't seen anyone using it so far. Maybe I'm just battling the wrong persons xD

Never used a Mega before except for Charizard X.

Mega Gengar and Mega Manectric are my least favorite based on looks.

 

My favorite is Mega Medicham. Super powerful with that Pure Power ability and with moves like Hi Jump Kick, Psycho Cut, Ice Punch, and Fake Out its just a true powerhouse. I especially like Fake Out as Medicham isn't very fast. using fake Out lets you get Mega Medicham's speed without worrying about that first turn that you will be using regular Medicahm's speed instead (even if mega Medicham's speed isn't amazing or anything, but it definitely helps).

Honestly I can't choose a least favorite Mega. They all look so cool to me that there's no way I can choose one to dislike.

 

My fav would be mega absol too. I hate mega bannette, it looks so lazy and doesn't tie into it's non mega at all, really. :/

 

My favorite mega is Mega Charizard X, I love the design and the fact that charizard finally gets it's dragon typing. It's ability Tough Claws is an ability that works great with charizard X's Stats.

My least favorite is Mega Mancentric, even though i've never used it I really hate it's design.

 

I like Mega Charizard X, Mega Kangaskhan, and Mega Aerodactyl.


I think all Mega Evolutions are awesome stat-wise, but design wise I don't like Mega Charizard Y and Mega Abomasnow.

 

My absolute favorite megas are Mewtwo and Charizard Y. Who would have ever guessed?

Least favorite... I would say Kangaskhan just cuz its a bitch to deal with, but honestly that's just due to the pain its inflicted on me. My least favorite would have to be Garchomp. The design just doesn't look right to me, normal garchomp is much more badass. On top of that, Mega garchomps stat boosts are next to worthless thanks to the speed it sacrifices for it.

 

Oh man herracross is so much fun to use, the skill link rock blast bullet seed pin missile and then close combat, especially when set up this thing effectively rapes everything but talonflame, he's even resistant to most priority moves.
*Note: Am I the only one that thinks mega herracross looks like a Lokomo from Spirit Tracks?

My favorite though would have to be houndoom the namesake there, and he's really fun to use in sun teams, fire blast will 2HKO a blissey in the sun. Manectric is second though I've loved manectric, I actually like the design, and intimidate volt switch overheat can be a real pain in the butt to deal with especially with the right guys to switch into, also light screen to help outpredict the opponent.
Least favorite by far is mega mewtwo X, although I don't like Y either. legendaries megavolving just no, I've always hated mewtwo and its a retarted design for X

 

It's kind of weird because of how much this mega disappointed me when it was first released, but I would have to say my favorite mega is Mega Houndoom.
I was disappointed with Mega Houndoom though because I wanted Cerberus, the three headed dog that guards Hades (both the place and the god) in Greek mythology. And with Houndoom itself being a hellhound I was somewhere around 65% sure that I was going to get Cerberus, but I didn't. What I did get was still extremely awesome though. I just had to take some time there to get over the fact that it wasn't Cerberus.

Least favorite would have to be Garchomp. I'll admit right now that the scythes for hands idea is freaking awesome. The problem is that other than that all they did was add a few spikes, and give him a weird jaw... Uh... Issue... I don't know that jaw is just a problem...

 

Hmm, Mega Banette is my Favorite, and Mega Heracross is my least favorite. It's just to ridiculous looking.

 

I totally agree that it looks hilarious but I have one on my team and it's pretty damn good. I don't really know anything about competitive and yet it's still taken me pretty far

I have a lot of favs although Mega Charizard Y I guess is my classic fav. Mega Pinsir looks really damn cool though, just never got the chance to really use it. Least fav is Mega Manectric.

 

My favorite would probably have to be Charizard X or Mega Lucario; possibly Mega Houndoom as well. As for a least favorite... Well, let's just say there's a few that I don't like;
Mega Heracross, Mega Garchomp, Mega Abomasnow, and Mega Gyrados. I know that all of them are extremely useful/strong, but I just don't like them at all, especially Mega Gyrados since Lysandre-whom I hated from the moment I saw him-had a Mega Gyrados.

 

My most favorite Mega Pokémon is Lucario, really love how it looks like (except for it's tail, wish it had stayed as the normal Lucario).
My least favorite still is Blaziken, it's a Pokémon I never liked and never will so even with Mega Evolution it will still remain as my least favorite of the Megas.

Mine has to be gengar, absol, mawile, Never got to see areodactyl, I can't find Khangeskahns stone, nor medichams so if any one can give me advice i'd greatly appriciate

 

My favorite Mega is Gengar. Firstly from my understanding the things a damn powerhouse, second I love how its design is closer to Haunter than regular gengar. I also liek several others, special mentions to Both Mewtwos, Houndoom, Lucario, Both Charizards, and Banette

Least favorites prolly Mega Alakazam, Mostly based on designs since I never have and prolly never will care about the stats of Pokémon, but yeah I really dislike its arms and legs, they just look stupid to me. I also don't like Mega Ampharos, it's essentially Ampharos with a wig.

 

Favorite Mega: Mega Absol. I'm really glad this thing got a Mega. Not only does it make it more usable, people are using it more. Plus, I love how it looks. It's kinda like an angel which I thought was really cool. I also love Mega Gardevoir. Mainly because it's one of my favorite Pokémon, and I love how it looks and the stat boost is very welcome.

Least Favorite: Both Mega Mewtwo's. (I'm gonna need a lot of flame shields for this one) I'm pretty sure you all know my opinion on this thing if you read my blog entry. But I'll say it again. First of all, this thing didn't need a Mega. Mewtwo was already very powerful. So yeah, great idea boosting it's stats by 100 and making it stringer than ARCEUS. Also, why give it TWO?! I say the same for both Charizards. Why'd it get two and the other Gen 1 starters get one? I also hate Mega Blaziken with a burning (get it?) passion. That thing sweeped my entire team once! And I've also seen it as an unnecessary addition. Sure, it looks cool, but it's a huge just WHY? Did he need it? NO!

My favorite Mega is Mega Gardevoir, especially when it's shiny. Gardevoir's my favorite Pokémon so it was really awesome that it got a Mega.

My least favorite Mega is probably a tie between Mega Banette and Mega Houndoom. I really like Ghost-types and Houndoom is cool too but their Megas are soooo lackluster. It's annoying how Prankster doesn't kick in until the turn after Banette mega evolves.
