What the topic title says, nothing really to explain.

Pokémon Diamond...the first Pokémon game I owned. I had no idea what I was getting into...I was quite the noob. However being a little kid playing Pokémon I basically over leveled all my Pokémon taught them all super powerful moves without really caring about types...yeah I was a dumb kid.

The reason I'm telling you this is...Beating the Pokémon league, is the most memorable moment in Pokémon. It was...VERY hard for me considering my mind couldn't really deal with it.

    Aaron, easy
    Bertha, fairly easy
    Flint, meh
    Lucian...I hate him.

    But Cynthia....oh god Cynthia.
It was the middle of the night, I had tried for hours to beat Cynthia. Until, at around 2AM...I did it...I beat her. It was 1 v 1, Milotic VS Raichu...it was so intense, but I landed a Thunder...and watched as it that 30fps HP bar slowly go down and hit 0. I was relieved...I was happy...I still remember my team.

    -Torterra
    -Raichu
    -Dialga
    -Azelf
    -Machoke
    -Staraptor

    Beautiful...

Mine was in Platinum. I'd played Platinum many times before, so I knew where all the trainers were and whatnot, so by the time I made it to the League, my team was strong as can be. Somehow, I accidentally designed my team to where it could counter everyone's Pokémon with ease, and throughout the entire thing, I didn't have one Pokémon faint. It wouldn't have meant as much if I meant to make that team the way is was, but the thing is, I didn't.

That would probably be beating Cynthia in White for the first time for me. When you finish the main part of Black/White, you will be able to battle Cynthia in Undella Town. Because it's right after you finish the game, and Cynthia has Pokémon around level 75, and because I'm not the best at intensively training my Pokémon, it naturally took me a while to actually get close to beating her.

My team consisted of a Hydreigon, a Leafeon, an Altaria, a Clefable, a Ninetales and a Metagross (the first two were traded, the other four were caught and trained by myself, but they were all around the same level as Cynthia's own Pokémon.)

It was in fact the first time I had beaten Cynthia in any game, and you could say I was pretty satisfied with my accomplishment. I think a major reason that I remember it so well is because of the music. I love Cynthia's theme a lot, and I guess sound plays a big part in memories.

The most memorable moment was when I beat LeafGreen for the first time.

For the life of me though, I can't remember my team, except that I had a level 75 Lapras that knew Surf, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, and Psychic. That Lapras honestly carried me through.

But FR/LG's leagues were always extremely difficult for me, because I never did much grinding, on top of the fact that I was younger at the time. So when I beat LG for the first time, it opened up a lot of aspects I hadn't gotten to see before. Plus I had tried to beat the league many times, but hadn't succeeded until then.

I also haven't beaten it since then, aha.

My most memorable moment was back in Silver when I met my very first shiny Pokémon (not counting the Lake of Rage Gyarados) in a cave, I think it was Dark Cave but i'm not 100% sure. It was a Rattata and I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the starts around it since I've only ever seen them on the Red Gyarados before.

Well I got another moment I would like to share, this is also from Silver. Back when my friends and I had a really hard time finding the legendary beasts because we didn't really know the full mechanic behind them or how to really end on the same route as them. The only three of the beasts we've ever really been able to seem to meet was Suicune (met it so many time keep in mind this was before Crystal) with the exception for Entei which one of my friends have managed to catch but he was the only one. It was morning and i had a day off from school because I needed to go to a special clinic for examination. I was just goofing around in the tall grass on Route 29 just outsdie Cherrygrave City when I suddenly ran into a Pokémon, the music was the theme of the legendary beasts and Raikou showed up, I nearly yelled when I met it because it was the first time I'd never seen it before. I chugged my Master ball at it right away and caught it.

I was the first of all my friends to catch Raikou and well kid me was proud that I had a Pokémon no one else of my friends had at that time. Of course as we figured out how to end up on the same route the other slowly started catching all three even though Suicune was still the one we encountered the most which I to this day find pretty odd really.

Most memorable moment for me was when I first finished Pokémon White. After a month of training up my team, I was finally able to defeat the Elite Four. Mostly my level 60-ish Samurott did all the work however. I knew I had to fight N but I really wasn't expecting to fight Ghetsis. Thankfully I managed to defeat both with my Samurott's Razor Shell :D .

Keep in mind Pokémon White was my first Pokémon game, so defeating the Elite Four after a month of training was a pretty big deal.

Another time was when I was playing Heartgold and was at Mt. Silver. I reached the top only to see some dude just standing there. I decided to talk to him. Turns out it was Red and boy did I get my butt whooped.

I never made that mistake again. T_T

Most memorable moment has to be when I got a Manaphy in Pokémon pearl, Via event.
Like that thing was a beast on my team, and it was so adorable too with energy balls and aqua rings all over the place.

Besides that, I'd have to say my Lucario. I did so many contests with that thing like we were top tier contest winners.

One of the most memorable thing for me was when I managed to get the Victini at Liberty Garden in Pokémon White. Even though I accidentally make it faint on the first match, on the rematch, I'm trying my best to not take it down, and resorting to some Timer Balls. Just then, I hear a huge fling sound and the Timer Ball shakes once and then clicks to mark the success of the catch!

It's basically my first Critical Capture, but given that it makes me able to catch Victini, it makes my Victini much more special. :)

For me, it was probably when I figured out that Pikachu was a piece of crap in Pokémon Yellow. After Brock, I pretty much shunned it, put it in the sixth slot(you couldn't get rid of it), and evolved a Nidoking and moved on with my life. Then I had just gotten to the 5th gym when my save file got corrupted. Not exactly a good moment, but memorable nonetheless

My first Pokémon game with Pokémon Gold and I had no idea what I was doing half the time. When I got to the elite four I have a lvl36 Meganium, a Pidgey, a Rattata and a lvl74 Red Gyarados XD It took me around seven tries to beat Lance but when I did, I felt the excitement and exhilaration for the first time and that's why I keep playing Pokémon. So, as the root of all evil, that's my most memorable moment xD

My most memorable moment was when I caught my first shiny in Silver(a shiny Nidoran male).

Also beating Cynthia for the first time in Pearl. It took me MONTHS to beat her. Needless to say, I was drowning in sweat.

Mine was also in Pokémon Platinum. I thought you were only allowed to have one Pokémon so I was so happy when I finally beat Cynthia with just Infernape.

I had a similar experience in Diamond. I also had no clue what I was doing. All I had was my Lv. 60 Torterra and a Lv. 50 Dialga along with 4 HM slaves pretty much. I didn't stock up on revives so when I got to Cynthia all I had was Torterra and 15 Max Potions plus most of my pp was gone. Man was that an intense fight. It came down to Torterra vs Garchomp that lasted forever as I slowly Crunch'd it to death while healing every other turn.

Same for me, the first time I beat the Sinnoh E4. I kept losing to Lucian over and over and I just couldn't beat his Alakazam. One of my friends, who had two older brothers who also played Pokémon, was pretty much the Pokémon king (I was the queen) of our school when it came to knowledge and battling skills. The problem was that my Pokémon were all weak against against Lucian's as Gengar and Infernape were my two most powerful Pokémon and I'd traded away my Dialga for an Azumarill. Then came the fated day he invited me over to his house and he told me to take my DS with me. His brothers had given him some top notch Pokémon and he was willing to lend them to me in order to finally beat Lucian. If I remember correctly my team ended up being something like Infernape (mine), Infernape, Torterra, Torterra (all his) and then another one of his Pokémon which I forgot, might've been Lucario or Salamence. Honestly I nearly cried when I finally got to see those beautiful ending credits with my buddy who'd helped me out so much. Good times...

For me, my most memorable moment was beating the Elite Four for the first time in my life. That was in the first game I ever owned, Pokémon Diamond (it's a rom btw, it's not even an official game). I barely spook English by then (I selected the moves I wanted my Pokémon to learn by looking at the numbers they displayed - No numbers? That means I won't teach you to my Pokémon. Guess why Earthquake has become my favourite move). I was stuck at that first Elite Four member. His Heracross with Mega Horn was so strong... he defeated my Torterra over and over again. I still remember beating Cynthia very clearly: her Spiritomb was the biggest pain in my ass. I defeated the others relatively easy using my Torterra's beloved Earthquake. I beat the game somewhere near 12 o'clock at night (remember, I was 10 back then, that was pretty late back then). I was so excited! ..yet I couldn't scream because we were on vacation on Tenerife and my little brother was sleeping in the bed next to mine. Damn.
I believe the team I used back then (I called them the "Elite Six") was Torterra, Infernape (I got my brother's Chimchar, I was supposed to train it but it ended up liking me better than his original trainer so I kinda claimed it as my own), Dialga, Uxie, Azelf and a sixth Pokémon I forgot about.

(guys, this is my 666th post! :3)
