    Nope, not missing anything, if we're going to go by stats Arceus is the only possible answer.

    Stats don't really make a Pokémon good all the time. For example, both Slaking and Regigigas have base stats of 670, which is pretty uncommon, but they have awful abilities.
    On the other hand, Ditto has 48 spread on all of it's stats, and with the imposter ability, it can be pretty whopping.

    But Arceus really is one of the most powerful Pokémon, if not the most, yeah. It's also really versatile.

    Kyogre gets the special attack boost with drizzle when he uses water type moves, and a thunder that hits every time. That puts him above arceus in my book

    Oh, obviously Kyogre is the strongest 'Mon in competitive play out there. But the original question was when it came to stats alone, which Arceus wins.

    Magikarp is totally the best Pokémon evaaarrrrrz :V

    Nah I kid.
    But I personally think (on a non-legendary Pokémon level) that Swampert is pretty rad. I've had a lot of good luck using a Swampert in battles. Then I would also say Vaporeon is pretty good. The ones I've used in the past (and now) were like... short-height tanks that eliminated everything in their paths.

    I'm not a big competitive battler, so I'm not really sure which is best at that. But I find Lilligant pretty useful :D Ingame, Bibarel is very useful. That giant beaver can learn some very useful HMs. Sure, he's just an HM slave, but he's useful because of that.
