Mother (Earthbound) Series!

Hello LV! The only Mother post I've seen is in the Archive and it's about the Wii U Virtual Console release. I have a few questions for you guys!

What do you think about this series?

Which ones have you played through?

Do you follow the amazing, almost finished fangame, Mother 4?

Follow-up to the above question, will you consider Mother 4 canon?

Finally, who is your favorite Mother character?


I personally love the Mother series! It's more than just an RPG, but about following the heroes as they grow-up!

I've played through Earthbound and am currently playing through Mother 3. Sadly I'm stuck on the

boss. They have crazy defense and I'm gonna give it one more shot 'til I just grind on the nearby enemies.

As for Mother 4, I'm checking the blog, official site, Shane Mesa's twitter and the subreddit daily! I can't wait!

Even though it's just a fangame, I will consider it canon (that is if it is linked to the original series somehow).

My favorite Mother character would have to be Ness. He's adamant and courageous and a powerful being, yet he's just a 13-year-old!
