Have you guys noticed any significant move changes this gen? One of the ones I've noticed is that Defog now clears the field of hazards on both sides.

Not really but I have noticed that attacks seem to be far more enhanced with strength. While trying to catch a level 40-ish Drapion my level 85 Lucario was getting his behind kicked o.o I couldn't believe how much damage a Pokémon half his level was dealing!

Seems like it really doesn't matter what level you are (well within 10-30 levels) you can still do considerable damage in the right conditions. I also noticed that crits are far harder to get for me, but for some reason the trainers I face get them nearly all the time. When I face the Water type Elite 4 guy, he always gets crits. Earlier today I faced the Elite 4 again for Exp and money, and my Lucario whom is level 85, was having a hard time landing 1-shot hits yet he's done it before...I didn't understand why that was happening but he still got the job done as he always does. :P

Ice beam, flamethrower, and thunderbolt all got changed from 95 base power to 90 base power. It doesn't really seem that big but when you're battling it makes all the difference.

Same with Fire Blast, Blizzard, Hydro Pump and Thunder. I think they're all 110 base power now. Also, Thief is now good on Scizor, it's 60 BP iirc.
Oh and crits now only do 1.5 x the regular damage instead of 2 x, guess they don't matter that much anymore.

Pokémon Amie(? spelling sucks) may have something to do with your crit hits, the more you play with them the better they do in battle they won't miss as much and will land more crit hits.
Rock smash has also seems to have gotten stronger. It used to barely dent the hp in enemies even when super effective and now I'm 1 hit KOing pkmn left and right with it. So its actually useful!

Frost breath and I'd assume storm throw are 65 power now
Fury cutter is a base power of 40

I've noticed some weird things, but I'm not sure if they're changes or just glitches in the game. Most notably, dragon-type moves not being effective against other dragons. Sometimes it'll say moves like Dragon Claw was super effective, but sometimes it won't and just deal normal damage. (It's done it for other moves as well, such as Flying and Fighting, but it usually does it with Dragon)

Aside from that, I haven't paid all that much attention, other than some moves seeming to be a little more accurate.

Rock Smash isn't of great use either, I haven't noticed it gt stronger. Though I rarely ever use it in battle, I just stick it on a Pokémon for use later on. I'm actually glad it's no longer a HM since I can easily re-teach it and get rid of it when I want.

Well, Tackle has 50 BP now, and perhaps I'm wrong, but I could have sworn that it was only 40 in all previous Gens.

Tackle, woo. Usless move no one keeps. Gotta make that one better.

I noticed that they've changed Faint Attack into Feint Attack. Not that important, really.

Of course some moves got changed to Fairy Type. The one I noticed was Moonlight, though I'm sure there are probably a couple others.
