Here's a fun topic: Think of a move taht a Pokémon should be able to learn, but you have to give a reason as to why
Your reason cannot just be "because it's powerful"

    Some examples could be:
-Lickitung should be able to learn Lick because it has a tongue and it has Lick in it's name. (Lickitung couldn't learn Lick in Pokémon Red and Blue!)
-Ninetales should be able to learn Mystic Fire because Ninetales is commonly reffered to in legends and it can use Psychic-type attacks, Psychic-types and "mystic" being a common link in Pokémon.

Ferroseed should be able to learn Rapid Spin, because in its animation, it's literally spinning.

Cofagrigus sould be able to use Pay Day because its based on a mummy in a gold sarcophagus and mummies like that are often burried with other gold (other possesions too)

Here's a very common one. Gyarados should learn Crunch because it has a huge mouth that can obviously bite on something. (By the way, Gyarados can in fact learn Bite. This is why everyone's complaining about why it can't learn Crunch.)

@[member="Rafael"] In ORAS, Gyarados can learn Crunch via level up :D

I would like to know why Palkia cannot learn Scald. SO many other Water types can learn it, but why not Palkia? I could understand if Palkia was a cold Pokémon, but Palkia isn't a cold Pokémon to our knowledge.

Surskit should be able to learn Surf, because it can skate on water already and if Bunnelby can do it there is no reason Surskit shouldn't be able to.

Kabutops should be able to learn Earthquake because its a fossil for crying out loud. Almost every single rock type can use this ground type attack but Kabutops can't?

Scyther should be able to learn Fly, because it literally can fly in the anime. It also happens to be a flying type with wings...

If anyone should be able to learn Fly, it should be Garchomp. I mean, it is already shown flying in the anime, so not giving it Fly in the games just doesn't make sense. Although, it being able to fly in the first place doesn't actually make sense. It's a land shark, it already gets the land part, also kind of the sea part, but it just has to have the sky part as well.

But anyway, I still think Garchomp should be able to learn Fly. The fact that it's shown flying is the only reason why for me, GameFreak should have put some more thought into this. o3o"

I'm sorry but I completely agree with the whole Scyther flying thing because like if a tiny pidgey can learn fly, surely a scyther could hold you up. Not only that but Gliscor as well. The bro totally has the capacity to fly.
