Sign Up/Discussion Murderer Mystery

This is a game of Murderer mystery. There is some explaining to do before we go into the main story of this game.

The reason this is not in the game corner is because I do not want a random person to come in and make a turn even though they have no character.

This is not a locked roleplay meaning when the murderer is identified a new round will be ready to be hosted. Each time a new round starts a new area and killer will be selected.

People will be pm'd a role by your truly on how they will act
The roles are
Murderer
Innocent
Detective
Medic.
Insomniac
The reader
(these roles may change one which map it is)
Each role has their own use.The murderer is able to pick one person to kill each night. The innocent try their best to gather clues on who the murderer is. The Detective gets to cast two votes on who the killer is. The medic can pick a person to save. The Insomniac will wake up in the middle of the night and plant a fake bit of evidence around the crime scene . The reader will read books late at night and go to bed late. They will wake up a couple hours after everyone .

To be able to do your role you'll have to pm me on who you want to kill or save.

Each character is unique and you get to pick how they're built .

Each character needs to be mildly similar to another player so the Insomniac is not instantly found out. If there is a shortage of players than npcs will be placed into play. A player will always be a murderer. But an NPC can become a detective, medic, insomniac, Innocent.

I the Puppet master will say all that is happening on the main roleplay thread. You'll be discussing on who the killer is on that forum making friendships and backstabbing them for your own good. Your characters do not know that a killer is on the lose until the first night has passed.

A night will pass when each player has made one turn and the puppet master plays again. This gives each player a chance to do something in an attempt to stop the killer.

If each player is eliminated and one player remains with the murderer the murderer wins.

If the detective is alive with the murderer than the detective wins.

If the medic is alive with the murderer than the murderer wins

If the insomniac is alive with the murderer than the murderer wins

If you are killed do NOT POST ON THE FORUM . If you do this you will be disqualified from the next game. You will not be told who killed you. You will be pinged with an @ saying "@ has passed away due to a killing you find their limbs torn and ripped apart."

A lone cabin

You're going on a school camping trip!

A cabin in the middle of the forest. A well in the far corner to allow you to gather water to drink during the night. The flowers are blooming. The birds are singing. And on days like these. Kids like you. Should be rotting in hell. A lone sawmill rests in the corner of the forest. A pile of logs being held by a rope. The cabin has long beams a pile of rope in the far corner. Twelve beds lay around to allow people to sleep

Personality: The male is very into exploring things on his own to make sure he can get past anything that gets in his way. He likes to try new things including food
Mental state: High mental state (sane)
Backstory: He grew up in a not so wealthy family and was not able to try much when he was younger. When he grew up he liked trying new things that he would never had been able to try. He's the type of friend that no matter what would be down to go get food if you wanted to get some with him

DO NOT SAY YOUR ROLE TO ANYONE THAT IS YOUR ROLE AND YOUR ROLE ALONE IF YOU DO THAT THAN ALL ROLES WILL BE SWITCHED Though if you say shit like "I'm innocent" Than you're fine because everyone says that.

Yeah that is a big flaw with Timezones . .. Yeah discord would be a good place for it now that you say that.

 

I can make a discord to be able to do it. We can use this as the main sign up area. Give out a discord invite link to the game for new players. I'll pm their roles on discord. Discord would work wonders for this game. I can start work on it if people are interested. But yet, @Tala Is Eternal isn't apart of the discord. How would they act ?
