There's no shortage of apps to help you discover new music, and thankfully, we have all sorts of ways to discover music freely. Nowadays, we get to listen to music on-demand without necessarily downloading it via music streaming, sort of like an online radio!

What sort of streaming services or websites do you use to find or listen to music? Youtube, Spotify, Pandora, something else? Why? What makes those services better for you?

(Also, please do not mention any sort of pirating in your post, even though I shouldn't have to say that; just a reminder!)

I generally use Youtube, and when there are people over we use Spotify. Youtube is useful when you want to listen to your own music, and Spotify is useful because you can make your own playlists easily that everyone wants to listen to.

I generally use Rdio & iHeartRadio to stream my music. Both allow me to make my own personal stations with only what I like in them. Even better, both are free & have no ads. :)

Usually I use YouTube, ListenonRepeat, and (less frequently now) Grooveshark. YouTube is great for jumping from song to song, ListenonRepeat is exactly what it sounds like, excellent for those songs I want on repeat over and over and over, and Grooveshark is good for the songs I adore but am too lazy to put on my iPod. XD

I'd like to say Groveshark, but that's been in some dodgy water for a while now. Therefore, I usually defer to Youtube for anything music related that I want to look up. Or, if it's a radio station, I use TuneIn Radio to listen to streams.

I will occasionally use YouTube, but whenever I stream music I normally end using Google Play Music.
