My informal introduction

Hello, I was referred to the forum group by Achromatic. He messaged me on Pokémon Showdown and piqued my interest to join yet another community catered towards Pokémon players. As informal as this introduction may be, I feel I should start off with a more generic, yet proper approach.

I am known by my peers as Tyler J. Crimson, it is an alias backed by my handle, Crimson. I've been playing Pokémon since I can remember, quite literally I can only remember as far back as the moment when I first started watching the anime, reading manga snippets, and playing a copy of the game that I stole from one of my relatives because I knew she had two copies of Blue version (and a copy of Red Version, which were both given to her on Christmas.)

I started competing in the game when one of my long-time friends first introduced me to Effort Value Training and my drive to play the game skyrocketed as if I relearned the game all over again. Currently, I plan on competing in VGC regional tournaments and hopefully I can ultimately compete at Nationals.

Outside of Pokémon, I compete in other video games such as Street Fighter and I'm a small-time programmer working on a Software Dev. degree. I hope that the community is accepting of me and we can play, chat, and bond together. Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction and I hope to chat with you soon!
