"I skipped towards the edge of the lake; the hot summer breeze was scorching my back. I picked up my backpack which was resting by the lake. I reached inside and pulled out a small Poké Ball from within. Suddenly, my playful brother, Erwin sneaked up behind me and gave me a shock. Before I knew it, the Poké Ball had jumped from my hands and had fallen in to the lake, with my Pokémon still inside. "Crap!" I screamed. I tried to catch it before it fell but it was already too late. It was sinking in to the Lake.

I jumped in after it, desperate to rescue my Pokémon. I didn't even take off any clothes; I dived right in after it. I needed to get it back; I couldn't let anything bad happen to my partner. I searched around, my head darting from side to side. I couldn't see the Poké Ball anywhere. "Where could it be?" I thought to myself. I couldn't believe my luck. This vacation was going great until my brother decided to pull a little prank on me. I needed to get back my friend.

It was midsummer, but the Lake was still cold, and I was getting a chill. I need to find the Pokémon. I wouldn't give up on this. I would find it. At least, that's what I wished, but deep down I had a feeling that all hope was gone. The Poké Ball was nowhere to be seen. It was gone. I felt like crying, my eyes began to swell up and my cheeks were clenched tightly. There was nothing I could do, the Poké Ball had vanished. It was over, at least. So I thought.

Suddenly, a giant Pokémon began to swim towards me, I was frightened. I wondered what the hell was out here in this Lake. Before I knew it, the Pokémon had reached me, I prepared myself to be eaten, but...Nothing happened. I opened my eyes and before me was a large Sharpedo. This Sharpedo was holding my Poké Ball, like it was trying to give it back to me. I was scared, I didn't want to reach in to its mouth and grab. But I knew that I had to at least try. I reached in and quickly grabbed the Poké Ball. The Sharpedo swam off quickly, before I could even attempt to thank it.

I swam up to the surface; my whole family was waiting there for me. They gave me a towel and dried me down. I was so happy, and more importantly, I was relieved. My partner was back, my beloved Feebas. I couldn't wait to let it out of the Poké Ball and play with it. I had my sights set for an even bigger goal next..."
