My theory on why Ash never ages...

    So I was thinking about this the other day at work. This theory of mine came from when I randomly thought about SAO.( Sword Art Online) and if you've seen that show, you might know where this theory is going.

    What if the reason why Ash never ages is because he is mentally in a game "Pokémon" with a head gear similar to the one in SAO. I though about this and started to put some pieces together. Ash can't age because the game "Pokémon" got a glitch to where every player couldn't log out. And to prevent any harm to the bodies of the players, they were frozen. This would Also explain why all the nurse joys, officer jenny's and the other look a like family's. There is only one character mod for officer jenny, Nurse joy and so on. So those players who decided to play any of those characters couldn't customize them.

    This would also explain why you never really see any characters with any serious injuries, like when the fall off cliffs, and such. Have you ever noticed how pretty much everything is free? This also fits into the theory, The inventors and designers wanted to focus more on coding and design of all the 700+ Pokémon in the game then to worry about currency and coding a currency limit.

    This is part of my theory. There was more to this when I was thinking of it but I forgot some of it. But I'm sure you guys get from where I'm coming form and can add in some of your ideas to this theory.

    (and I really don't know if a theory was thought of like this)

    It basically sounds the exact same as the whole 'coma theory' that gets talked about regarding the Pokémon world in the anime, just with some headgear device taking the place of the coma.

    I think what it was is when ash first started out on his journey he saw Ho oh and it says that Ho oh can grant any wish that the person wishes for when he see the Pokémon. And ash wished to be a Pokémon Master. From that day on he became immortal and never ageing. How do you think he lived through all that legendary Pokémon encounters on those movies XD? He got slammed against rocks and statues in the first movie and got blasted by Mew and Mewtwo. Ash should have died just in the first Pokémon movie lol. And the the whole Entei thing and so on and so foruth.

    He is doomed to fight trainers for the rest of his life.

    It kinda sounds Forest of the Dead, a Doctor who episode where everyone in the library was going to die for some reason so they stored to them to the data banks to save them all.

    These two theories are definitely ones that are interesting. I've never heard of them before, but there have been many times when I've sat down to ponder of some things with the conclusion, "Logic? When did Pokémon ever have that?" For the notion of this topic, I find it fit to see that making theories with what game developers have left us with, seems like an interesting task. I researched a bit and found theories involving that he was hit in one of the movies by mew and mewtwo, most of these revolve around his encounters with legendary Pokémon.

    The Coma-Theory makes the most sense to me, I guess. I'm looking forward to reading more of your theories!

    My friends been crazy of the Ash comma theory of why he never ages. The theory kinda made me a little aware of ash now. But the thing is when he started his journey. He was planning to only travel kanto so the thing is how did he even get the ideas of the other regions did he make it up or he knew about them but never wanted to travel to them in the first place...
