    Sooo I made sure this topic wasn't posted yet... I think... I'm just gonna bring this little trinket up for the fun of it.

    To start off, this item can be obtain from a Backpacker at one of the many hotels minus Lumious's City hotel. This backpacker would speak about some sort of facility you would not believe. And at the fourth day of talking to the Backpacker he will give you this item, and as a last remark he will quote that it's not from Kanto, not from Jotho, Hoenn, Sinnoh, or Unova...

    So what the heck is that...? To me it looks like one of those Easter Island Statue... :/

    "Protector" gives a strong hint, Not that besides Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos there are also "minor" regions like the Orre region from Pokémon XD. Soooo there's that to consider.^^;


    ...BUT! I still stand by to the fact that it looks like an Easter Island statue or the sorts. :T Kalos still have a lot of Unanswered questions...

    It kind of seems like a Tiki mask of some sort. Maybe gen 7 will be based on some Pacific islands and the legendary will have something to do with that. Just a guess.

    According to rumors and on youtube, it's POSSIBLE that it may be possibly based on southeast asia but that would be mere speculation so.... Yeah.x - x

    I totally want to believe this, but it's so hard to believe when the souvenir looks nothing like Rayquaza, or represents anything related to Rayquaza.

    True, but for all we know this could be saved for gen 7, or mega evolution we have yet to see for something current (besides Rayquaza) .

    Marriland has suggested in a certain video of his that this strange souvenir will be connected to another region that may be in Generation VI alongside XY. He's thought this since not the end of the month that XY released, and even after ORAS have been confirmed he still thinks there will be another region. This souvenir probably has something to do with what will come in the future.

    I got this thing and had no clue what it was. But after some good thinking, it's probably a signal for gen 7. I am thinking since easter island statues are from South America, and South America has not been based off a region, it could be one in gen 7.

    A thought the souvenir was always such a weird item. It's surrounded in theories but hasn't really become relevant at all after a year. I feel like it's really a disappointment than anything else.

    I never knew about this thing i want to gewt it now >.< but i guess it may be useless like the Rare candy bar your given in gen 4 you pay money and donot get anyhing in return its just an item it didnt rly point anyhting out to the next gens 5-6 but like rage candy bars could that item be related to a place near by seeing as the candy was related to the lake of rage

    I bet that thing might be foreshadowing a legendary Pokémon from the upcoming generation: Generation 7. I don't know for sure, but I think that this is our first clue.
