Well, this is it. At the time of this thread's posting, we are nearing the final two episodes of Mythbusters, the Reunion episode and the Grand Finale episode. We're at the end of a beautiful era of silliness and science.

Mythbusters has been a big part of my life. I've been watching the show on and off since I was a little under ten years old, and in greater earnest over the past few years in particular. Mythbusters has been with me for over half of my life. It's still not fully sunk in yet to me that soon this will be a thing of the past.

What's your connection with the Mythbusters? What do you think of the show? How do you feel about it coming to an end?

WHAT?!!! They're not going to do mythbusters anymore? That's sad, I really enjoy watching mythbusters and learning all the interesting science involved,

I'll be sad to hear it's gone, that's for sure... but I always have a little bit of perspective in the back of my mind. Every show has to end sometime, especially if there is an iconic creator of some description. Mythbusters without Adam and Jamie just wouldn't be Mythbusters, and they've gotta retire eventually...

Until the development of immortality, this is how I react to every show's cancellation.

Oh man, it's hitting me hard. I've always followed along with the mythbusters episodes-- I think there's only a few I haven't seen? They always supply us with useful information!! My favorite one was when they busted the myth about contracting germs from the horrifying "double dipping." It was always nice to inform friends about all the myths ;(

It's sad to see it go. Mythbusters has been an ongoing show in my life, but I haven't watched any of the newer ones, so that helps soften the blow. I now there are other shows like it out there, but Mythbusters was the best.

Really? Mythbusters is gonna end? Oh man, that sucks. That show is about the only thing on National Geographic I find very fun to watch because I love all the experiments they do. Mythbusters is really physics made fun and understandable... Too bad it's gonna end :(

God this show man. It's helped me laugh when no one else could. I remember sitting in the living room with baited breath for the next episode to come on. It's what helped spark my interest in science. They were the one's who taught me that failure is an option, and just because you have failed they're might be another way to go about it. Oh and the basics of science. They taught me that too

Mythbusters is something that I have watched on and off for many years at this point, and to be honest, it's one of my my favorite TV shows that I always forget exists. I have learned so many cool things from it over time, I don't even know where to begin. However, the one that I remember the most is when they proved that if you were to run through the rain, then you would get wetter than if you walked through it. It's just things small things like these that I love and remember about Mythbusters, and although I haven't watched it in a while, I'm going to miss it.

'Everyone I know goes away in the end' huh...
I don't know how to feel, really.
Back when I used to watch TV religiously, I loved watching Mythbusters on a Monday night. It's more than likely gonna be a tough loss for Discovery after the series ends.
Unless they rerun the hell out of it.
    Eeep.
