Nail Salons

My aunt works at a nail salon, so I get my nails done for free from time to time. Overall, the experience is pretty nice. They have a variety of different colors of polish, so there's a lot of decision making haha. It's pretty relaxing and overall just makes your nails look pretty darn good.

I am very tomboyish but from time to time I do get my nails done and i honestly its quite fun. I have great conversations with the people who do my nails and the do a great job at it. The one thing I dislike is how tedious it gets from sitting in one spot for a certain amount of time.

 

I'm personally not big on them, I'm too boyish for that.. buuuuut I do admire other peoples nails when they have them done up really nicely. Some of the designs are super cool. I see a lot of customers at my job during the day with some really nicely done nails. I have no idea how some nail salons can do stuff like that.. like all those tedious looking patterns, and such.

 

I used to play around with nail polish from time to time as a kid. I don't ever get my nails done, of course, but I've really liked some metallic colors (especially blues and purples) that I've seen; they're very pretty! Strange as it may sound, I've always just liked the smell of nail salons whenever I walk by them at the mall, though feel a little uncomfortable actually going inside. If I absolutely had to, I wouldn't mind letting someone paint my fingernails. My toenails are off limits, though, because I feel it'd be pointless since I like wearing close-toed shoes. ;;

 

As a girl, there is a obligation in life to get your nails done at a salon once in your lifetime.
I do get my nails done from time to time, but I really don't go to a nail salon, as I rather do them myself. The colors I usually use are Tardis blue, and Royal Blue. I prefer pedicures than manicures though~
