Since a lot of users seem to be doing this now, I thought I may as well join in on the action!

Basically, you provide me a Pokémon to battle with on Showdown. You may choose any Pokémon, according to what tier is currently in place on a round. You may, or may not suggest a set. That part is up to you. If you don't suggest a set, I'll customly create one myself.

Without further ado, this is what you need to know in a 'Rules' form:

    1. One Pokémon suggestion per user, per round. You may or may not suggest a set. The set you suggest doesn't have to be a Smogon set. It can be anything you want. If you choose not to suggest a set, I will freely choose what I want on your suggested Pokémon to me. Final stage Pokémon (or single stage Pokémon) are only permitted, unless it is a tier like LC, or a tier that has NFE Pokémon in it (Gurdurr in NU, for example). All Pokémon by default will be Level 100, unless playing a specific tier, or is specified otherwise within a special stipulation.

    2. All battles will be standard 6 v. 6, at all times, with a series of 10 battles per "round". All replays will be posted regardless if I win or lose. To clarify again, all battles will be taking places on the Pokémon Showdown simulator (will be present in the Lobby room when I commence with these battles). If any of my opponents disconnect super early in a match, it'll likely not be counted towards my 10 battles.

    3. The tier format will change every round (example: Round 1 may be UU only, Round 2 may be NU). Special stipulations may be added in for fun at times. It all depends.

    4. No suggesting anything unreleased or banned/illegal (this includes Fakemons), or anything of this nature, unless the tier of the round specifies otherwise.

    5. After a total of six suggestions have been made, I will do my battles ASAP, but do not rush me. Battles may take a day, or several days (or even longer) to post here. It all depends. The first six suggestions will automatically be used on my team for the current round. Any suggestions after the allotted six will be disregarded, and won't roll over to the second round. All suggestions will start over when the next round is officially announced by me.

    6. I will use the Pokémon/Pokémon Set you initially provided. If you make any edits later on or at the last minute to your post, they will not be applied when I commence with my battles. So basically, I will apply your Pokémon (set or no set) to my team based on the first time I glance at it. If you've made any errors (intentional or not) with your original, unedited post, I will inform you via a post quote so you can fix said error(s). Make sure to fix these error(s) in your original post, rather than making an entirely new post.

    7. After I've posted all the replays of the current round on this thread, I will then (in the same post) announce Round 2 and its stipulations. Again, it'll be a series of 10 battles straight every time, regardless of if I win or lose. This should make the battles more exciting and a lot less predictable!

    8. All Lake Valor General Rules & Competitive Rules section applies.

Oohh yay! And I get to suggest my favorite Pokémon AND my favorite build. Nice!

    [3D='lanturn']
    Lanturn @ Leftovers
    Ability: Volt Absorb
    EVs: 56 HP / 252 Def / 200 SpD
    Calm Nature
    - Hydro Pump
    - Soak
    - Thunderbolt
    - Aqua Ring

Most people wouldn't build Lanturn tanky. I found that he's a hidden gem as a tank, though this build is what I usually use for doubles rather than singles.
This is also (aside from the moves) the same build I used for Super Staff Bros, just to give you an idea of how tanky Lanturn is and how much of a hit he still throws as a beefier Pokémon.

I'd love to see how this build fairs out in an actual singles battle. I know it's very successful in doubles. (With higher tiers and a Pokémon that knows Discharge by his side.)

    Modest Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Boomburst
    - Focus Blast
    - Overheat
    - Surf

Step 1: Get rid of all Steel & Rock Types

    Step 2: Click Boomburst

Almighty Thumbs (Ambipom) @ Life Orb
    Ability: Technician
    EVs: 148 HP / 108 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Fake Out
    - Knock Off
    - U-turn
    - Taunt

This is a favourite of mine. A great lead Pokémon. Send in 1st turn, Fake Out, use your incredible speed to outsped most of the popular leads and taunt them. Use Knock-Off on any Ghost-Type switch ins that would prevent Fake Out, and U-Turn out of there if you want.

    Then profit.

Come on, guys! We're half way there! Just suggest any Pokémon (set or no set) that's of RU tier or lower (excluding LC of course).

Oh, I think it's time to show off one of my personal favorites.

    Druddigon @ Rocky Helmet
    Ability: Rough Skin
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
    Impish Nature
    - Sucker Punch
    - Glare
    - Stealth Rock
    - Dragon Claw

Druddigon is a solid lead option in RU, and pretty much is in a good amount of area to start in any game. Being a solid Stealth Rock setter, he also has Glare, which is very strong in the terms of paralysis helping really any team. Sucker Punch is there for unexpected revenge KOs, and Dragon Claw is for STAB. Rough Skin and Rocky Helmet proves how bulky and useful its defensive stats are when hit, and return a good amount of pain back to any opponent that attacks it that way, letting it be an easy switch-in to many situations.
