So it has been a long while since I have posted anything on here...Between my work schedule and my recent surgery, I haven't had the time, or I have been to drugged up to really be able to do much of anything. First off I would like to say my surgery went well. I had a metal plate and three screws removed from my ankle, and one screw left in to help cut my recovery time. I have been able to start moving without crutches here and there, but my foot is still swollen, and I still have my stitches in so I have a bit to go.

Anyhow, getting to the point of this post. In my newly acquired spare time, I picked up a new hobby to try. Soap making. I know, I know what does this have to do with Pokémon? Well check out my first soap I made today!! :D I made a cucumber melon scented Bulbasaur soap :) Now, he's my first one, and I know he's kind of derpy looking, but practice makes perfect right? Anyhow, I hope you guys like him! I will be trying either Squirtle, Charmander, or Dragonite tomorrow as they are the only other Pokémon molds I have right now.

    That's really cool!

I'd personally love to see a Dragonite soap.

Well thanks guys!! Glad to see you like him ^_^ Well I did end up doing both Charmander and Dragonite so I hope you like em! They turned out good for the most part until I had to get them out of the molds, the bottoms got a little messed up but oh well. Like I said, trial and error :)

Very cool! Do you make the molds? And how do you make them have a scent? O: I really have no idea how soap making works so I'm just wondering :D

Well I ordered the mold off of ebay. It's actually suppose to be for lollipops but I had more fun making soaps!! Haha well first you start with the base, which I used glycerin. You cut that up into small cubes and microwave it for about 30 seconds. Depending on how much you are making, you may have to microwave it in 10 second increments to make sure it's completely melted without overheating it, all the while stirring it each time you take it out. Then you add the dye of your choice, mix, and then you add your scent! Mix a little more, let it cool, and then pour into your mold. Let that sit for about ten minutes, and if it isn't solid, set it in the freezer for about a minute to help the process :D And that's how you make soap :D

Oooh soap making huh? These are pretty awesome! And besides, lollipop molds are good for many things, including making ornaments(although I never thought of soaps!) That's the cool thing about them though. Multipurpose in an unintentional way XD

Lol yes!! I like the thought of making ornaments ^_^ Though I'm sure if I pick up yet another hobby my husband would probably kill me haha I am doing sewing, painting, I do a small bit of clay work, and I just recently picked up the soap thing xD

So I'm kind of sad, someone threw away my Pokémon molds :/ I went to make some more last night, and I couldn't find them! Only to find out that they were thrown away because someone thought they were disposable :/ Oh well, but I did make some more at least!! The green one is melon scented, the purple is vanilla, and the yellow is pink grapefruit!
