Do you think that they will release new legendary Pokémon in this game? While Alola had a lot of ultra beasts, they only have 2 real legendary Pokémon (5 if you count the pre evolution) and the Island Guardians, it is a few Pokémon, but in my opinion, they didn't all really have the zing of legendary. Zygrade was from XY but was brought into the story here. So do you think they may introduce someone new, maybe develop more on Marshadow since it didn't really get to be in the game? What do you think!?
It's possible we may see legendary Pokémon from past generations in Alola. Given how much focus there is on gen 1 Pokémon we might see Mewteo and/or the legendary birds. Game Freak loves to surprise people so who knows what will happen.
I hope that Marshadow gets a bigger role. It would be interesting to explore its backstory, as we don't know all that much about it at the moment. As for new legendaries, I wouldn't be surprised if they added new ones but I think it's more likely that there will be alternate versions of the current ones.
I agree that it would be very interesting to see this happen. I am a big fan of Alola forms in general, so I wouldn't be against it. A beautiful Suicune with another type would be marvelous.
This is an interesting idea. I like the idea of other legendaries coming to Alola, and having special Alolan forms. Whether this would be specific to certain Pokémon, or all of them in general, a little surprise would be really cool. Just imagine Azelf flying around Alola in its Alolan form!
Most of the focus was on the Ultra Beasts for Sun and Moon, so if anything I would expect them to go into more detail with the Ultra Beasts. Necrozma in particular is going to be a point of focus for Ultra Sun/Moon, although it wasn't technically classified as an Ultra Beast in the first games. Just based on the name of the games though, I would expect this to change since Necrozma+ the sun and moon Pokémon are the legendaries for this game. It would be cool to be able to do more in Ultra Space too.
I wouldn't mind some new legendaries, though I'd like them to have a role in the game. Even if it's a minor one. I don't want to be just handed a legendary like with Magearna, I'd love it if there was some kind of event where you actually have to catch it.
We need Primal Dialga and Primal Palkia! In all seriousness, I would love for a new legendary/mythical Pokémon to appear. A Pokémon fusion seems like a cop-out to me for the flagship legendaries. Adding legendaries for the dawn and dusk or solar/lunar eclipses would be fantastic and tie in with the game's lore nicely. Alternatively, USUM could expand upon the Ultra Space, and we could get more Ultra Beasts. It would be cool to see one based off the clouds or inspred by a volcano (which actually makes sense, given that Alola is based off the volcanically-formed Hawaiian islands). Either way, we're definitely getting something new, so I'm hyped for it!
There will most likely be more UBs and perhaps Hoopa might have a significant role considering its ability to open wormholes and such. Then there's the Necrozma-Lunala and Solgaleo fusion. And hmm... maybe we will finally see Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom fully combined into the Original Dragon? I mean, Colress is there in Alola so he must have a hand in the fusion stuff. It's unlikely but possible :0
