    I saw Deltheor's journal entry about this place over on DeviantART and decided to come have a look around. A long time ago, when I was just a wee lad of 15, I spent far too much of my time on forums. But they provided more entertainment than most other things and the only reason I got out of it was because the popularity of the game the forum was based around gradually dropped off, and so too did that forum's attendance. I've poked around at other forums since then, usually gaming ones like VGChartz and NeoGAF, but those are so busy that there's not all that much actual conversation going on. After having a look around here, I'm glad to see that members actively respond to one another's posts, which is most definitely something I'm interested in.

    Anyway, a little about myself.

    I'm currently living in England, but I'm American by birth, here for university courses. I study film production and writing, but I'm not very good at either one of those things as it turns out. Mostly I just poke around at things on DeviantART and occasionally role-play, though I haven't done the latter on a forum in a long time. When I'm not studying (and should be writing), I'll play Minecraft and other lighthearted games. I'm not too big on shooters and prefer the fantasy genre above all, though science fiction isn't too far behind!

    As far as Pokémon goes, I'm an old timer, having played Red and Blue versions back when I could barely fit my hands around one of those fat Game Boys with the dim screens and clunky buttons. That being said, many of my favorite Pokémon are from the newer games, like Braviary and Staraptor. Most of my favorites (because I could never pick just one) are of the avian variety, but I like more than only those.

    Rayquaza is my avatar currently because Deltheor pointed me in the direction of this forum and it's one of the few things I drew that I can tolerate looking at for more than a few minutes. Not because I'm filled with self-loathing or anything, I just rarely look at things I've done unless absolutely necessary.

    hey welcome to the site. nice introduction there bud. you can poke around this site if you want haha : P xD but yeah i started at emerald and stil remember that game. good memorys. i had a gameboy advance and i think i had a little attachment thats like a book lighter to light up the pages. the screen you know but yeah haha. my favorite Pokémon well . probably deoxys um darkrai .what else. i like.the none legendarys i don't know. theres alot.. well yeah so yeah. hard to choose. but yeah -ahem- enjoy the site and hope to see you around soon :)

    Not too big on shooter games myself - I've yet to get into even one. Boyfriend got me to try Borderlands 2 but I just couldn't really get involved and forgot about it. Too awful to consider actively playing. xD; Welcome to LV! Braviary is a really awesome Pokémon, one of my favorites as well, though it stinks Rufflet doesn't evolve for such a long while. By that point I'd have already nabbed another flying type.

    Enjoy your time here as it seems like you'll fit in swimmingly. This is definitely one of the more welcoming and fun places to post in if you've not been strongly involved in forums for a while. Cheers. <3
