New Member saying Hello!

Hey there. Just joined the site, thanks for linking it to me. Had a good look around and it seems like a good site!

Quick introduction: First Pokémon game I ever owned was Sapphire on a Game Boy Advance SP. Before that though I had played a little bit Yellow and some of Red when a friend let me have a go at school. Watched a few of the films, had collected a few cards, and used to watch the anime, but haven't seen anything much beyond the first or second series. There was a big gap since my Sapphire days however, I had a save on there that was 700+ hours, but I lost it some how. Didn't get back into playing the games since April this year actually, when I decided to get a second hand 3ds and Pokémon X, wanted to see what the new gen was like. And it was great! And crazily enough, soon after I got back into the game, ORAS was announced! I preordered Alpha Sapphire and will be getting it next Friday

Favourite Pokémon would be Gyarados, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Sandshrew, Salamence, and a few others. Also only recently started learning about IVs/EVs and competitive breeding etc. I've managed to breed some good Pokémon now. But so far I've only joined one online contest in Pokémon X, and that was the Pokémon Super Speed Double Battle 2014. I had 11 wins, 19 losses (2 from apparent internet problems) Which isn't bad considering I hadn't properly prepared a particularly strong team and also hadn't played competitively before at all.
