    Hello everyone. I'm new on here. I got referred from Achromatic. Was hoping some of you guys/girls out there could tell me a bit about this website. I'm an avid player on pokemonshowdown.com and as of right now I currently do not have a DS :/

    Welcome to LV! This is just a (not so) run-of-the-mill Pokémon forum site. Our community is super friendly and you can probably find something you love on here. You can start your own topics or reply to others on various subjects like fanfic, graphics, or in general Pokémon! If you need help, you can ask the mentors, like for example Pariah who has already introduced herself to you. There are, I believe, a vast amount of competitive showdown players on the site, so not having a DS won't hinder your ability to battle someone. I'd recommend getting up 5 posts in order to use the shoutbox since it's one of the main sources of social interactions with your fellow members. Besides that, I hope you have fun here!
