As we all know there were a few new moves in ORAS such as Dragon Ascent, Precipice Blades, and Origin Pulse.

Are these moves too powerful? Should they even exist at all? Do they make these broken Pokémon already more broken?

I think that they are just perfect how they are. I know that Mega-Rayquaza is already a powerhouse, so why not give it the Close Combat of Flying types?

I don't really mind them getting these uber powerful moves. M-Rayquaza's been banned even in Ubers, and as for Groudon and Kyogre, they needed signature moves badly, and they got them!

P-Kyogre, P-Groudon, and M-Rayquaza weren't really meant to be anything less than OP haha. They're the super-ancient Pokémon who created Hoenn thousands of years ago. Personally I don't mind them having those moves, it fits how powerful they are, as they should be haha.

Those new moves are definitely powerful, but the Pokémon who can learn them are already top tier Pokémon, so it makes sense that they would learn them. Just wait until Hoopa gets into action in ORAS. Hyperspace Fury from Mega Hoopa brings even more of a new twist to new powerful attacks.

Powerful Pokémon gets powerful moves, plus like some have already said Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza needed a signature move. It just makes sense giving them some really powerful moves like Star said since they are super ancient ones after all. I haven't really used them much myself so I can't really appreciate the new moves as much since I rarely ever used strong legends like that.

A signature move is, in my opinion, one of the best ways to make a Pokémon special, to set it apart from the others. A super powerful signature move like the ones for the Weather Trio in OR/AS simply emphasizes how powerful and special these Pokémon are, and that's a good thing. I really wish more Pokémon would receive unique moves :)

Dragon Ascent a little overpowered, but apart from that it's nothing too concerning, it's not like I wasn't able to beat primal Kyogre because it had origin pulse xD

I think the new moves they added are really cool, and they suit the Legendary Pokémon perfectly! The animations for said moves are so cool, with Dragon Ascent being my personal favorite. I do wish that it was more akin to Origin Pulse and Precipice Blades in terms of attack power and move effect, but I still love it all the same. I'm just not a fan of Close Combat-like moves, haha.

All these moves are completely OP. However, they really look pretty awesome. I think they really made the legendaries pretty much revive in popularity. I love it so much.

Even though the new moves are OP I think they are equal in a way, because origin pulse and precipitate blades can miss, and dragons ascent lowers both defenses so they are balanced but M-Rayquaza just hits so hard with a base 120 stab move and a base 180 attack stat with max attack adamant 504 attack (or something like that) it can ohko just about anything tbh
