New Nintendo Direct is coming January 14th!

Please let it be a new Animal Crossing game or update. I want it so bad and I've been waiting for ages now, haha. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us though.

 

Thanks for letting us know! Odds are they're probably going to be focusing on their new IPs like Spatoon and Codename STEAM, but I hope we get at least a bit more news on Majora's Mask 3D and Zelda U! 2015 is really starting to look like the Year of Zelda, and since The Legend of Zelda is my favorite video game franchise of all time, I couldn't be happier!

 

Please, just announce a release date for MH4U already and have a N3DS XL bundle for it.

...DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW HYPED I AM RIGHT NOW?!? Let me just list a FEW things in the new FE trailer that have me hyped-
1. It looks like Awakening. Kind of expected, sure, but I loved how that game looked. It looks much more polished, too. (The battles look really good- The kind of entrance-y thing to them is a neat touch as well.)
2. The maps looked pretty good from what I saw. (One of Awakening's flaws for me was that the battlefields felt a little same-y and flat, unlike past games- Sure, the Paralogues and DLC maps (I bought every one of the latter- Yeah, I love Awakening, even if it has its flaws) were great, but what about the main game?)
3. The character designs look pretty great. I love the Japan-ish feel to it all- Sure, all the irritating otakus in my school can put me off of Japan a fair bit, but honestly, I still love a lot of things about it- Especially all the samurai-ish stuff.
4. It's on the 3DS. While an FE on the Wii U would be pretty awesome, I think the series works best on a handheld system.
5. That music. Just... I know this is Fire Emblem, so it's to be expected, but THAT MUSIC.
Yeah, I love me some Fire Emblem, so this is biiiig news for me. If there are any people who despise Awakening here but like the look of the new one, I need to say that you have to be GRATEFUL for Awakening, because if that didn't hit the amount of sales they wanted, they would have ended the series. Now I'm even happier they didn't.
I'm really interested in Splatoon now as well, what with all the customization. It looks really charming, and has that magic Nintendo feel to it. I'm personally really excited for Mario Vs. DK: Tipping Stars, since I've always been a big fan of the Mario Vs. DK series, and I love the Minis (Mini Luigi and Mini Shadow Mario are a thing now, so that's great)- Also happy they're really upgrading the online sharing, since that was a big part of Mini Land Mayhem (Which isn't online any more, R.I.P) and IS still a big part of Minis on the Move, and it was already great before. I'm really happy about the Mario amiibos too, since Mario is my favorite video game franchise (Fun fact right there, not sure if I've said it here before), and I'll pick up a couple at some point- I hope that the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. get amiibos outside of Smash Bros. too. (Especially since I don't think they'd even make Smash Bros. amiibos for the Koopalings, what with them being alts for Jr.) Also- I need to pre-order Majora's Mask, since that's a big deal to me.
Still waiting for Paper Mario Wii U to become a thing, though. But honestly, a new FE is enough.

 

YES! FINALLY! A MH4U/MM3D/N3DS release date! (Took them long enough)

 

I forgot to say, but I was banking on Tingle being in the Majora's Mask HW DLC pack. A Zelda celebration NEEDED Tingle, man.
Also, can someone PLEASE make a GIF of Tingle's koo-limpah dance in Hyrule Warriors? That'd be hilarious.

The new Fire Emblem looks like Awakening... In other words, it looks amazing

 

Oh my gosh! I woke up very happy about this announcement. I'm saving up to buy a New 3DS Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate bundle, and I'm selling a bunch of games on ebay/glyde and doing a bunch of chores to make the cash. I'm particularly excited about the new Xenoblade, Marioparty 10 and Splatoon. I'm also not the biggest Fire Emblem fan... I have Awakening, but I rarely play. The battle style isn't very appealing to me, so I won't be picking up 14 soon. I've played MvDK games in the past, and I'm not a huge fan, but the new game looks particularly cool! I'm praying I'll save enough money in time, with the $50 dollar discount and all
