New Nintendo Titles This Month

    For this month, we have 2 new video games making their way to Nintendo consoles; Puzzles and Dragons + Super Mario Bros. Edition for the 3DS coming out on the 22nd, and Splatoon for the Wii U on the 29th. Honestly, the games are looking very good so far, and I have both preordered. I am looking foward to them both.

    I look foward to a new Mix n' Match puzzle game, especially from my favorite franchise, Super Mario Bros. The mechanics for both games (Puzzles and Dragons package) look very neat as I have not ever actually played a Puzzles and Dragons game before.

    As for Splatoon, it's nice how Nintendo is finally pulling a new franchise out of the box. And it looks good too. It's about time we get a shooter game that isn't terribly bloody. The mechanics look amazing, along with the graphics.

    Are you getting any of the new titles this month? Do they look good? If so, why not?

    I plan on getting Splatoon when it's released, if all goes well. I participated in one of the testfire demos, and the game played great! No online lag (yet), and very smooth animation as well. The graphics and colors were also very appealing. The only complaint I have with the game is the lack of online modes. I know we're going to have future DLC for the game, but the game should come packaged with at least 4-5 modes to choose from, as opposed to only 2.

    My favorite part of splatoon, at least in the test fire i saw was that the kills didn't really matter.

    I would get splatoon, but with no wii U it is useless. I am tempted by the Puzzle and Dragon because of the new Mario RPG theme and the fact that it has a better story then the App version, so I'm told

    I'm thinking of getting Splatoon, it seems really fun! It's great how a new Nintendo game becomes part of the family with all the greater games such as Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Brothers, Kid Icarus and yadda yadda yadda.

    But I might not get Puzzle and Dragons + Mario Edition since I already have Pokémon Shuffle downloaded.

    I'm not so sure if I will be getting Puzzles & Dragons after some annoying experiences with Pokémon Shuffle, but it might be interesting to play. What I'm really excited for Splatoon. I got to play the Test Fire for it and OMFG that game was amazing. Some mechanics are different coming from playing HALO or Star Wars Battlefront, but I'm sure I will be able to get used to them a lot faster than those since I don't personally own them. And the art style is gorgeous and the gameplay is balanced. I cannot wait to try everything else out.

    AND THE SERVERS ARE FREAKING AMAZING. MK8 were great, SSB4 not so much, Splatoon... Oh my god, there was no lag whatsoever.

    I'm looking forward to Splatoon. It seems really, really interesting, but sadly I don't have a Wii U. No other game's have interested me this month, really.
    It really takes a lot to get my attention for a game.
