I like it. Very smooth. Keep up the good work. I shall try this soon myself.

Thanks dude! I should have mentioned this will probably be difficult without a graphics tablet. You can probably get a similar outcome using a mouse but it will be much more difficult and time consuming to get the smooth-ish curves in my outcomes. Also planning is everything, especially in the last outcome. I planned out the general shape initially and smudged in the details to fill out the negative space.

If you have any questions as always please ask, I've been having so much fun experimenting with this style.

Yeah. It's a little bit hard because I have a mouse pad. I think I might try at school sometime in Digital Design class because we have the graphic tablets.

I may need to try this in the future, it looks like a really cool effect that doesn't really care about the background much. Thanks for sharing.

Umm do you mean that you can use any image as your focal not just a rendered image? If so yeah totally, though I do prefer to use a rendered image simply because it gives me more control when it comes to adding effects to the render independent of the smudge, but that's just more for convenience than anything else.

As I said to Toxic, I'd love to see any outcomes you get from this :)
